REBEL

Weve been a Rebel at least once in our lives, be it wearing a torn pair of jeans against our
parents will or choosing to stay inside our rooms when our not so favourite guests crash on the
couch. Its easy to say Yeah! Im Rebellious and even simpler to oppose someone/something.
The difference lies between refusing respectfully and refusing like trash. No matter HOW it is
done, in the end the point is we "refuse". We refuse to change our attitude, we refuse to accept
the government (which apparently we vote for), we refuse for a change in our timetable, so in
short we refuse for any kind of change be it a positive one or negative.
Rebel is not a new word to us, weve read about rebellious men like Bhagat Singh, CS Bose,
ML King, Mahatma Gandhi in chapters of history about their struggle. They refused to accept
the wrong and left a mark on the world. This is the power of refusal, the power of proving your
point, the power of not accepting what bugs you. If we go by the text, no story about a victorious
war was ever told without having a hero who rebelled, you never saw a villain fighter who
accepts the situation, does nothing and leads the story or did you actually? If you did, you were
told stories of imaginary characters, not real men.
If you switch to a news channel, youll come across things that we do not accept and feel this
needs to be changed. These days most popular news headlines (sadly) are related to rape
cases. We read the articles, debate about the same in GDs, do not accept this behaviour, but
do we do anything that actually tries to improve the root cause? We dont rebel because the
government is more rebellious than us, making us question how can we rise against our own
ourselves? Often it is believed one cannot rise in the opposition, but the examples mentioned
above were not extracted from the books written by the people of mars.
When we do something, even things like choosing commerce over non medical as a stream in
class XI, we face oppositions and threats from every direction. Fingers start pointing us from
everywhere making us feel weve done something wrong, but in reality theres no right or wrong!
Its all about what you believe in. Do anything but give up on what you stand for! Because the
day you do so, you lose the right to say Iss desh ka kuch nahi ho sakta. We all make up this
country and if were not clear about ourselves how can we expect our nation to represent an
image which delights us and makes it stand out for all the right reasons on the world map?

We at Rebel Clothing cannot be the only people who dream of a free world, a world where
people compete in a race to plant trees, a world where people choose environment over greed,
where humans eat good, stay well and justify their presence, where they chill and dont give a
f*** (I dont mean fish, obviously) to others life, where they do what they want and let others do
what they want to, in all a world where everyone celebrates individuality!

This article may take a few twists and turns, but the final words say: Fuck the world. Rise in the
opposition. Justify the phrase I am a rebel.
A philosophy that makes us reach out for more - We dont hate you, we just ignore you and
move forward for you being the one much more ignorant than us. We see a bigger picture, meet
us when you see it too.

Make every breath of yours count. Dont just believe in things, express them! And let us help
you expose your inner self better with just a click (www.kartrelic.com).
We dont provide you with tee-shirts but with a canvas to express your true selves, scream who

You see, you feel pity, you accept, you live like a stone and you die anyhow.
