P I N E BUICK Model: Year: LaCrosse 2010-13 Regal 2011-12 Remote alarm/central locking System operation l Pressing remote transmitter UNLOCK button deactivates alarm system (if fitted) and unlocks driver's door only. l Pressing remote transmitter UNLOCK button twice within 5 seconds deactivates alarm system (if fitted) and unlocks all doors. l Pressing remote transmitter LOCK button once locks all doors and activates the alarm (if fitted). l Pressing remote transmitter trunk release button for 1 second activates trunk release. l Pressing remote transmitter panic button once activates the following functions: q Sounds horn 3 times. q Flashes hazard lamps 3 times. l Pressing remote transmitter panic button for 2 seconds activates the following functions for 30 seconds: q Sounds horn intermittently. q Flashes hazard lamps. l Pressing remote transmitter panic button again, or switching ignition ON deactivates the alarm. l Alarm/central locking functions can be altered using Driver information center (DIC). Programming When l System malfunction. l Remote transmitter added or replaced. How - without Smart entry system l Remote transmitter can only be programmed using diagnostic equipment. NOTE: Existing remote transmitter programming will be erased. l Obtain and reprogram all remote transmitters. NOTE: A maximum of 5 remote transmitters can be programmed. How - with Smart entry system and one programmed remote transmitter available NOTE: A maximum of 5 remote transmitters can be programmed. l Obtain all remote transmitters. NOTE: Switch ignition OFF. l Place all programmed remote transmitters in the cupholder. l Insert key of the unrecognized remote transmitter into the driver's door lock. l Turn key to unlock position 5 times within 10 seconds. q Driver information center will display READY FOR REMOTE # 2, 3, 4 or 5. l Place the unrecognized remote transmitter into the remote transmitter pocket Fig. 127839 with buttons facing up. l Press the ignition switch. l When remote transmitter is programmed, the DIC will show it is ready for next remote transmitter. l Remove remote transmitter from remote transmitter pocket and press the UNLOCK button. l To program additional remote transmitters, repeat previous steps starting with inserting next remote transmitter key into the driver's door lock. NOTE: To exit the programming mode, press and hold the ignition button for 10 seconds. How - with Smart entry system and no programmed remote transmitter available NOTE: A maximum of 5 remote transmitters can be programmed. l Obtain all remote transmitters.
