Simple steps to follow:
i. One time registration (if not registered yet) through www.brilliantpala.in
- student portal requirements: name, date of birth, fathers name, mobile no, e-mail, home address,
pincode, passport sizephoto (50 kb), class X/XII Mark list.
ii. Note your user-id and password.
iii. Change your password and re-login through student portal - signin now. Note your
user-id and new password for future use.
iv. Upload passport size colour photo - will be used for ID card, application form printing
etc. Please upload a good quality photo.
v. Go to selection section - You must update academic data, before applying to any course.
You can apply to more than one course. Set your priority after applying. (add Class XII roll
number, mark (for HSE - give the percentage of marks for each subject out of 200)
vi. You may apply for hostel if required after applying for the course.

* If your Class XII marks/rank satisfy our criteria for admission (marks will be verified by us), your application
will be processed within a few days and you will get a confirmation message on your mobile. You can sign in
and see the status of your application at any time. (If Class XII mark/grade DO NOT satisfy our criteria, your
application will not be processed).
* For verification of marks and admission procedure (course and hostel), report at respective centre ON THE

b) FOR ADMISSION:
i) Med / Engg batches: Those who are selected for admission have to come to Mutholy (for
Mutholy/CTK Campus) or Thevara-Ernakulam (for Ernakulam Campus) with downloaded
application form and produce marklist/rank proof for verification. The proof for scholarship
- if any (details overleaf) should be attached with the application form or within 10 days of the
declaration of the result. Remit the Fee Amount of ` 35832/- (for Med/Engg). / ` 80899/-.
(for IIT-JEE) using the chellan issued from the brilliant office. Those who eligible for any of the
scholarship may remit the deducted amount (shown in chellan).
ii) Copy of the Bank Challan after remitting the fee in any branch of The South Indian
Bank Ltd. may be sent to the The Director, Brilliant Study Centre, Mutholy, Puliyannoor
P.O., Kottayam Dist., Pin - 686573 by Registered Post/Courier, or may be submited in
person to our Mutholy office with in the stipulated time.
iii) Students who need hostel facility should keep ` 1000/- with you for advance payment.
c) Students hailing from very low income families may approach the Director for fee concession /
payment in instalments.
e) We have a list of approved hostels / lodgings for the Repeaters 2015 Batch. Students of Repeat-
ers 2015 batch other than day scholars are permitted to stay only in approved hostels/lodgings.
If you are eligible for admission, you will be presented with a list of hostels where beds are
currently available.
f) In case of discontinuing the course after securing admission for Engg/Med. courses due to un-
avoidable reasons, there will be a proportionate refund of the course fee. The amount of refund
will be calculated on the basis of the number of class days upto the date of submission of the
application for refund in the prescribed form in the college office, along with the original
fee receipts, clearing the dues, if any. The student/parent is advised to read throughly the norms
for refund of fee given overleaf.

Students secured admission in Engg/Med stream shall report at the campus chosen 9.30 A.M. in
the respective date.
2. Class time : i) Mutholy Campus - 7.30 am to 1.30 pm / 8 am to 3 pm /
8.30 am to 3.30 pm / 9 am to 4 pm
ii) CTK Campus - 8.55 am to 4.00 pm
iii) Ernakulam Campus - 8.30 am to 3.30 pm / 9 am to 4 pm
3. Brilliant provides conveyance facility to various hostels.
4. ATM facility of South Indian Bank is available inside the Mutholy Campus and near the Arunapuram
Campus. Students can open SB account on the opening day, if needed. A passport size photograph
and id proof is required to open an account. Bank officials will be present in both the campuses.
5. On opening day classes are upto 1.00 P.M. only.
6. Normally, Saturdays and Sundays are study leave for the repeaters batch (except for IIT &
7.30-1.30 scheduled batch).
7. There will be weekly exam on every Monday or on any convenient day.
8. Students who are eligible for scholarships A & B should submit the necessary documents at the
time of admission itself if available or within 10 days of publication of the result.
9. Be modest in dress pattern and hence students should follow a Dress Code within the campus
& hostels. Girl students must wear shawl with all types of tops.
10. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the campus and residence. Parents and students are
requested to comply with this instruction strictly.
11. Knowledge of Malayalam is essential for a perfect understanding of the classes.
12. Students are not permitted to take bath in the nearyby river, as it is very dangerous.
13 Those who bring lunch/tiffin, must use tiffin boxes and not disposable packagings.
14. Applying for the ENTRANCE EXAMS is the sole resposibility of the student and parent.

NORMS FOR REFUND OF FEES FOR
REPEATERS 2014 - 15
1. Application for refund has to be submitted in the office in prescribed form available in the college
office at Mutholy or Ernakulam Thevara.
2. No refund will be made for the amount remitted towards REGISTRATION (2000+S.tax =` 2247)
3. Refund of the course fee will be made subject to following conditions:
a) Application for refund will be considered only if the entire course fee has been remitted.
b) Refund will be calculated based on the date on which proper application is submitted.
c) The maximum amount of refund is calculated as per the schedule given below.

who submit the application for refund in person should ensure that proper acknowledgement is
obtained for the same.
8. Refund will be made in between 15 to 30 days of receipt of the application by way of cheque in
favour of the student.
9. Refund of Service Tax will be made as per the prevailing norms of service tax refund rules of Govt.
of India.
