considered to be the 100 best books to use in the classroom. Also, the books are
separated into age levels so that teachers can easily see which ones fit their grade

finding topics for students to write about/writing projects. This would be helpful for a
Language Arts class or a Literature class.

as books for teachers that help to instruct on how to find and use the best materials

for English/Language Arts teachers as well as journalism teachers. This site provides
teachers with news that is directed toward students giving them material to write
on, reflect on, discuss, debate etc. This resource could be used a number of
different ways from having students use the site as reference in writing their own
news reports, to getting them aware of current events.

essays. This project will teach students to work in groups as well as how to better

for middle to high school ages classrooms and is ideal for English teachers. The
theme of this project is living and working in the 1800 to present. Students will use
a combination of their own ideas along with research on the times in order to come
up with an essay/or even a presentation on how they might have lived and worked
in the past. Teachers could switch it up a little bit to work for an English class (since
it is directed toward social studies students. I think that it would allow students to
use creativity in their writing and allow them to break the mold of very structured
essays and follow their own style and ideas.

great for middle school English classrooms. The project is to have students take on
the role of an actual poet. They will do research on the style and form of poetry the

Guys Read-http://www.guysread.com/- Since it is no surprise that guys tend to


have less desire to read, I think this site is a wonderful way to motivate guys to
reading again. This site encourages guys that reading is fun and important.
