Print Ad Ordering Package

Phone Book and Visitor’s Guides


If you'd like to order a print ad in the Phone Book or Visitor's Guide, please print and
follow the direction in the following sections. We do require a signed Agreement for any
order. Following the Ordering Steps on the following pages will help both of us become
more efficient. If you have any trouble printing or understanding this document, please
contact us. Thank you for your help!

Ordering Steps (1 thru 5)


1. Print this page
2. Read the Advertising Ordering Agreement and Sign it.
3. Choose your ad size (Call us if you are interested in a Special Page)
4. Choose an approved payment methods (See Appendix A)
5. Have your Graphic Designer prepare your artwork, or call us for assistance.
6. Send us your completed package of materials including:
a) A signed copy of the Terms Agreement below (via fax or email)
b) An initialed copy of Appendix A
c) A copy of your Bank Receipt or just receipt number (via fax or email)
d) A high-resolution file in .pdf at 300 dpi of your artwork for your ad.

Please include: your name, company name, phone number, size of your ad and any
special information

Advertising Terms Agreement
(This Agreement is for Terms only, and is not an Order)
Tamarindo Publishing, S. A. (Famous Points)

This is a private Agreement between


_________________________________________ , (the Advertiser), and (the Publisher -
"Tamarindo Publishing S.A.", also known as "Famous Points") acknowledging the
Terms for advertising in their printed publications.

Intellectual Rights: The Advertiser guarantees they have the right to use all photos,
designs, and layouts used in their ads.
Editorial Text: The Client shall have no rights to audit or approve editorial text, unless
the client pays for the space.
Liability: In any case, the only liability assumed by the Publisher is to reprint an ad in the
case of a significant error. If a print ad is not available, then the compensation will be via
an ad on the internet site of the Publisher.
Artwork: Customers are responsible for making their own art work.

Optional For-Hire Additional Services:

If you need help making your art for an ad, we offer a complete range of print and
internet advertising art production services:

Branding: We help you design a clear advertising message to help viewers easily
recognize your business, no matter how or where they're used. Price: $200
Logo: New logos Price: $300. Redesigns charged at an hourly fee.
Graphical Design: Depending on the size of an ad, our in-house staff charges between
$55 and $155 for a new design. Re-designs will be billed on an hourly basis.
Professional Photography: Professional photography produces professional-looking
ads. Cost: approx. $200. (Highly recommended, if not essential)

I have read and understand this agreement, along with Appendix A (Payment Options),
and I am authorized to sign and acknowledge these terms.

Appendix A
The Three Payment Options
Option-1 - Full - Full payment before closing date

Option- 2 – Half - 50% payment before Closing Date and 50% within 10 days.

Additional Charges: 10% for this special payment arrangement. Late Fee: If the
balance is not paid within 7 days of delivery, add an additional 3% per month for each
month.
Option 3 - Multiple - Other payment plans may be considered for multiple orders.
Payment Methods: We can only accept payment via Direct Deposit, Checks from Costa
Rican Banks, Wire Transfer, or cash paid only to Wayne Geddings or Victoria Alfaro. No
other employees, friends, or others are authorized to collect money on our behalf.
