DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE
In the past one year I have had the opportunity to interact with a
few recruiters. I found a common feedback, “XIMB students inspire
teamwork, excel in performance, are target oriented and have
strong ethical standards.” As the Director of this institute, it gives
me immense pleasure to know that the talent which graduates
from XIMB is not greed driven but value driven. It adds tremendous
vitality to the organizations and ensures that this world becomes a
better place to live in.

Global Managers As India opens up to a global existence, business schools across the
country are continuously facing the challenge of nurturing ‘global’
managers who can take forward the rapid foray made by Indian
businesses. XIMB has long championed the cause of management
education with an international outlook. Over the years, the Institute
has consciously worked towards creating a unique learning experience
so as to expose its student community to the diversity in culture
and add to the peer learning experience. This multi-cultural learning
environment helps create open-minded, culturally-sensitive managers
who could feel at home anywhere in the world.
In the past years, students from XIMB have also participated in a number of international symposiums and competitions including,
the Rubicon Contest, Germany, the 17th EBS Symposium, Germany, the 12th European Management Conference, Paris, the Harvard
College Asian Business Forum (HCABF), Mumbai, the 11th International Youth Leadership Conference, Prague and the U8 Summit, U.K.
This escalated degree of international exposure gives an added impetus to the strong thought-provoking academic culture at XIMB. The
Institute recognizes how imperative this is and is therefore committed to expand the scope of its current international associations.
In the last academic year, we had 10% of our students going for exchange program in the 5th term. Also, we had 15
exchange students from our partner institutes coming to XIMB. Further, to facilitate and strengthen the exchange process XIMB has a
dedicated International Relations Center (IRC), which acts as XIMB’s interface with the world abroad.

XAVIER INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT, BHUBANESWAR
BHUBANESWAR
The modern capital of Orissa and the “Temple Metropolis of India” epitomizes the fine balance of restoring tradition and encouraging
change. In fact, the ‘new’ Bhubaneswar with its modern buildings and extensive infrastructure perfectly complements its historic
surroundings.
Currently, the city is witnessing rapid industrial growth and is on the radar of some of the nation’s top corporate houses. Leading IT
organisations like Infosys, TCS and Satyam have set up their offices here. This confluence of city’s old world charm and vibrant economy
provides an ideal setting for the country’s most prestigious business schools.
STAY
We would be glad to make arrangements for your stay at The Management Development Center on campus. Alternatively, there are
