Mathematics
Grade 1 and 2

Objectives:
1. To teach students the different place value of whole numbers and be able for
them to familiarize the value of the set of numbers given to them.

2. To let the students know how each quantity are being compared to the other; for
them to identify if it is greater than, less than or equal.

3. To teach the students the correct chronological order of each numbers and be
able to familiarize them which number comes next or which number comes
before that particular number.

Topic:
• Place Value

• Comparing Numbers

• Arranging Numbers

Materials:
• Scissors

• Pentel Pen

• Cut-out pictures
• Colored Paper

• Bond Paper

Activities:
1. Name It! I will present my flashcards wherein numbers of different place value
are written. I will let students identify the place value of each set of numbers until
they’ll be able to familiarize each place value.

2. Line in Line! I will give a certain place value and they will underline the
corresponding number in the given set of numbers.

3. Quantifier! Using my visual aids of objects in different quantity, I will let them
identify if it is greater than, less than or equal.

4. Arrange to Range! In my set of flashcards where in numbers are written, I will


let them arrange it in a chronological order. I will jumble it again and let them
arrange it until they get the correct and exact order.

5. Perfect! I will let them count 1 to 100.

6. Symbols in Action! In the given set of two numbers, they will write the symbol of
<,> or =

Grade 1 and 2

Objectives:
1. To teach students how to read properly and familiarize them with contexts and
vocabulary that we use in everyday conversation.

2. To let them know the correct pronunciation of each words.

3. To enhance their comprehension in reading

Topic:

Materials:
• Pentel Pen

• Colored Paper

• Scissors

• Bond Paper
Activities:
1. Sentence to Success! I will let each students read some short sentences that I
made for them to familiarize how to read properly.

2. Words to Go! By the use of my flashcards, I will show group of words to my


students. They will pronounce each word written in the paper.

3. Double Trouble! I will group them by two’s. each student will make their own
flashcards and their partner will read it one by one so that they’ll be able to
practice and enhance their vocabulary.

4. Chorale! I will let them read a very short story so that they’ll be able to practice
how to read properly.

5. Identify to Classify! I will show them group of pictures and let them identify what
object it is.

6. Riddles and Rhymes! Riddles and rhymes are good exercise for their tongue.
They will read aloud different rhyming words and short phrases.
Science
Grade 1 and 2

Objectives:
1. To be able to teach them the different parts of the body and its functions.

2. To enhance each student their sense of sight and hearing.

3. To be able to let them identify the sound of each animals and objects around
them.

4. To let them identify the identity and color of each object that surrounds them.

Topic:
• Parts of the Body,

• Sense of Sight and Hearing

Materials:
• Cut-out pictures
• Scissors

• Colored paper

• Pentel Pen/Markers

Activities:
1. Body Body! I will present to them my cut-out pictures of different parts of the
body. I will let them identify the body part and the function of it.

2. Body Parts! As a class participation, I will let them stand up and as I say the
different body parts, they will point it to themselves.

3. Nature is Love! With the use of the surroundings, I will point objects and I will let
them identify what the object is. As an additional, I will also let them identify the
color of the object.

4. Sounds of Music! I will bring cut-out pictures of different animals and things that
produce sounds. As I present to them the pictures, they will voice out the
corresponding sound of it.

5. Colors Everywhere! To be able to use their sense of sight, I will let them color
pictures and and other objects.

6. Sing a Song for Me! I will make them sing the song of “My toes, My knees”.
