1. In your own words, describe what you learned by completing this lab.

First off, let me say that Lab 8 was AWESOME!!!! I enjoyed this lab, and the
information learned has stayed with me more so than with most other labs.
Windows Update Servers are pretty cool. We covered IIS in 221 from the client
side, so it was nice to see it more from the server side in this lab. I like the visual
and mathmatecal aspects of the Reliability and Performance Monitors, which are
highly configurable. The lab also covered Event Viewer and Windows Network
Monitor, which I also find extremely useful.

2. What are the IIS prerequisites needed to install WSUS 3.0 SP1?

Microsoft IIS 7.0 with the following enabled: Windows Authentication, ASP.NET,
6.0 Management Compatibility, and IIS Metabase Compatibility

3. What reports are available in the Update Services MMC?

Start  Control Panel  Windows Firewall  Change Settings  Exceptions


Tab  Allow an app or feature through Windows firewall  Change Settings 
Scroll to “Allowed apps and features” list to the "Remote Desktop" settings 
Check the following boxes : Remote Assistance, Remote Desktop, Remote Event
Log Management, and Remote Service Management  Click "OK"
