Job Description
We seek a Storage Area Network and Systems Administrator for our Data Center in Cherry Hill, NJ. In this role, you will
install, configure, and support the SAN for internal and external customers running financial based applications
You will be responsible for the following:
Installation, Configuration and Administration of Hitachi based SAN Environment in a 24x7 Data Center hosting Financial
Services Applications
Installation of Security Updates and Performing Code Upgrades
Performance Monitoring and Problem Solving
Fulfilling storage requests, Analyzing storage trends, Monitoring resource usage and capacity various storage arrays.
Managing storage replication for Disaster Recovery. This will include the ability to recover systems in a disaster recovery
scenario.
SAN switch administration
Systems management to ensure all production systems and services are monitored with proper alert notifications
Providing after-hours support via on-call
Adhering to change control and process rules
Maintaining proper documentation of process and procedures
Answering daily support calls and emails for both internal and external customers.

Minimum 5 years experience as a SAN Engineer
B.S. Degree in MIS or related field a plus
Extensive knowledge of Storage Area Networks and Systems including:
o Storage allocation procedures
o Performance monitoring
o SAN design and implementation
o Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues
o SAN setup and planning from host connectivity through the SAN
o Security
o SAN based Tape backup concepts
Knowledge of the following Networking concepts and tools:
o TCP/IP, Ethernet, Routing/RIP, DNS, SMTP,FTP, SSH,SFTP
o Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot networking issues
o LAN/WAN circuit concepts
In-depth knowledge of computer hardware including:
o Disk Controllers: RAID settings and configuration
o Fiber Channel Adapters
o Enterprise backup Systems: Tivoli & Commvault
Skills in AIX, UNIX, LINUX, VMware, RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2), Perl are a plus
