LECOM Newsletter June 2014

1) LECOM will no longer require students in its Early Acceptance Program (EAP) enrolling from 2016 onward to take the MCAT for admission. Instead, it will use an Academic Index Score based on ACT/SAT scores and undergraduate GPA. 2) Students must go through three steps to receive a provisional letter of acceptance: being notified of a successful interview, approval by their pre-health advisor/committee, and requesting the letter via email. 3) LECOM's School of Pharmacy now offers a distance education pathway for its Doctor of Pharmacy program, where students can complete a majority of their education online but must attend campus each summer for labs and presentations.
