Installation Guide





High Performance Computing -ITC
King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals


Step 1: Download installation files from here. Unpack the WinRar file to find following files.
Double click on the setup file to begin installation.


Step 2: Click Next and follow installation steps.


Step 3: Enter your Username and Organization as KFUPM and click Next.



Step 4: Select destination folder for your installation/install it in default location and click Next.


Step 5: Choose the type of installation you require and click Next.


Step 6: Select Start the Gateway now option and click Next.


Step 7: Click Install to begin Installation.


Step 8: Wait till the installation bar reaches its final status.



Step 9: Check the box Configure Licensing and click on Finish.


Step 10: Select option connect to a remote License Server.

Step 11: Enter Hostname as hpcmas02.kfupm.edu.sa, Port as 1715 and click Next.


Step 12: Click on Finish and you are done with installation process.



Now Goto Start Menu >>All Programs >>Accelrys and Launch Materials Studio 6.0 (Visualizer).

You can start Using Accelrys now and check for different Modules in modules tab.
