COURSE S)**A+US
Description: This course study on the different layers of the network architecture. The students
are expected to acquire understanding on information network concepts and technologies to
enhance their skills and knowledge in computer networking as well as to prepare and enable
them for the industrial practice of network planning, design, implementation, and management.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course students are expected:
To gain knowledge on network architecture and its significance for learning about OS!
SO and T"#$#, their hierarchical, the role played by each layer in the hierarchy.
%nderstand the necessity of network architecture, standardi&ation, types of architecture,
and de facto standards
Obtain an o'er'iew and understanding of the network equipment and cabling.
To learn about desktop management and ser'er applications
To practice network planning and designing
To present their network pro(ect design of a specific company
