AEROSOL GENERATOR
Xtra Low Volume fogging nachine ( Model : Nanotech)
The machine is sturdy & rugged, designed for varying atmospheric conditions
in the country & is continuously rated. The inbuilt fine-tuning feature will permit
time to shear the droplet effectively. The droplet size is measured in mass
median diameter. Your
Machine can shear the drops within one micron.
The nozzle takes care of different types of clear formulations available in the
market. The density of liquid should not exceed 1.09
The nozzle will not discharge viscous liquids like insecticides, oils etc.
SAFETY OF MACHINE
1) The design covers the total safety. All rotating parts unexposed blower
head gets heated due to air-friction. It cools off within 10 to 15 minutes.
2) A secured electrical grounding connection is provided to eliminate
electrical shocks.Ensure proper grounding connection on the supply
side before switching on the machine.
3) The tank is made out of pure-grade stainless steel & accepts
disinfectants having pH value from 1.5 to 11.
4) A seprate pin is provided to clean the nozzle. Water when autoclaved,
eliminates this problem. As such, cleaning of nozzle passage after every
fogging is a healthy practise.
5) Supply cable, 3 pin plug and rest electrical have 15 Amps rating. This
provides 470% extra current carrying capacity over the full load current.
All electrical items including motor are tested to 3 KV HV tests.
6) An imported timer - switch facilitates auto switch -off. The calibrated
dial indicate volume to be sterilized. This will protect the motor from dry
over run.Whenever tank needs to be cleaned from inside, remove three
wing nuts placed at 120 deg. Pull the cone up and tank will be
7) The tank can be charged through funnel, without removing top cover
8) Unscrew 3 Nos. wing nut placed at 120 deg. Pull the cone up and tank
will be seprated for cleaning.
The wetted parts as well as rest parts like mounting plate, hardware
etc. is of compatible materials. Thus reason for rusting, corrosion, erosion
/ pitting is totally eliminated even in extreme weathers / operating
conditions.

Periodic Maintenance
1) The nozzle hole needs to be cleaned after every fogging. Pierce it with
the pin provided.
2) Suction - air filter in place will protect the motor. This checks direct entry
of moisture into the motor. Wash the filter after every fogging operation,
dry thoroughly & replace it. FORMALDEHYDE clogs & fuses the filter in
single use. Eco friendly disinfectants will save operational problems.
3) The nozzle has a fine spraying mechanism. Ensure presence of filter in
the funnel before charging the liquid.
5.) The blower head is designed to get warmed up. Do not touch the blower

PROTOCOL
AERIAL DISINFECTION: (Fumigation)
Aerial Disinfection is to be carried out with MICRO MIST Fogging machine ONLY
(as recomended). This machine gives a very fine mist (LESS THAN 1 MICRON
PARTICLE SIZE ) that even penetrates cracks of surfaces ensuring a safe and
sterile environment.
CONCENTRATION: 20% (fumigated over an area of 1500 - 2000 cu. ft.)
(200 ml of Virosil in 800 ml distilled water.)
Specifications for fumigation:
Relative Humidity : 40 50 degrees (to be maintained prior in the fumigating
rooms)
The dilution of Virosil Pharma should be done in D/W or D/M water ONLY.
1. Make sure the room is thoroughly cleaned before fumigation.
2. The room should completely closed without any vent / opening.
3. Do the Surface / Walls Disinfection with 3% - 5 % Virosil Pharma solution
4. AHU should be put OFF before fumigation starts.
5. AHU is put on 2 hour after fumigation only.
6. The fogging machine is mounted 2 feet from the floor.
7. The angle of the motor is kept at 45 degrees. This can be adjusted with the
adjustment knob.
8. Ensure that a proper mist is created in the area so that the active ingredient
of Virosil Pharma is suspended in the atmosphere, thereby giving complete
aerial Disinfection.
9. The dilution of Virosil Pharma should be strictly done with Distilled water or
De-mineralized water only to avoid any precipitation with chlorine which is
usually present in raw water.
10. After fumigation the room is to be closed for 40 minutes minimum and the
plate counts are to be taken after 2 hours of fumigation. After which the AHU
could be started.
11. The dilution is to be made only during the time of fumigation and the remains
of the solution if any should not be reused. However the remaining solution
in the tank if any can be diluted with plane water and could be used for
7
surface Disinfection. This condition however is not applicable with Micro Mist
Sprayer as the solution left over in the tank is less dilution tank 10 ml.
12. After every successive fumigation, we request you to add plane water and
then start the machine for 2 min. This would enable in cleaning the inner
tubes and nozzle if chocked. Alternatively the PIN provided along with the
machine should be pierced in the NOZZLE after successive fumigation.
13. Never run the machine without the dilutions (empty condition)
14. Supply correct voltage to the machine as recommended.
15. Thoroughly wipe / clean the outer body and the tank of Micro Mist sprayer
with plane cloth after successive fumigation.
16. Any functioning problem of the machine should be immediately informed to
the supplier and should not be attended solely.
17. We recommend to spray only Virosil Pharma through Micro Mist Sprayer.
For better efficacy of the machine in the long run we request you to strictly follow
up these important points.
2. SURFACE DISINFECTION:
CONCENTRATION: 3% - 5%
(5 ml Virosil in 95 ml distilled water.)
PROCEDURE:
a) Clean the surface thoroughly.
b) Contaminate artificially with the test organisms.
c) Clean the surface with 3%-5% Virosil Pharma solution.
d) Detect the bacterial counts over 0 hr, 10 mins., 20 mins., 30 mins. and 1 hr.
3. WATER PURIFICATION:
CONCENTRATION: 75 PPM - 100 PPM
(1 ltr. of Virosil per 10,000 ltrs. of Water)
WATER SAMPLE: River water, well water (500 ml or 1 ltr.)
PROCEDURE:
a) Detect the bacterial count at 0 hr.
b) Virosil solution is added (100 ppm)
c) Take counts at 0 hr, hr, 2 hrs and 24 hrs.
8
4. EQUIPMENT DISINFECTION :
CONCENTRATION : 3% 5%
( 30 ml Virosil in 1000 ml of Water )
5. STORAGE TANK DISINFECTION:
CONCENTRATION : 3% - 5%
Procedure:
1) First clean the storage tank to remove excess sludge, organic matter or any
if present.
2) Spray the Virosil Pharma concentration on the walls of the storage tank.
3) Give a contact time of 30 minutes.
4) The storage tank could be directly filled with water without rinsing it as our
product leaves no residues or trace of elements.
6. CIP TREATMENT/ LOOP SYSTEM PIPELINES :
CONCENTRATION: 500 1000 PPM
Procedure: After successive batch prepare the dilution as mentioned (depending
on the volume of the entire pipeline) let the dilution remain in the pipeline
overnight, circulation if possible for better efficacy and then flush the dilution out
of the system (Discarded dilution not reusable). The system is then rinsed by
passing Water or Steam. After which the system is in use.
So for your Loop System of 1000 ltrs. capacity Applicable dosage would be:
500 ml 1000 ml
Initially you can start with a shock treatment of 1000 PPM i.e 1000 ml of Virosil
Pharma added in 1000 ltrs. of water which is then circulated through the loop
or given standby overnight to attain better microbial containment. Flush the
system then with purified water for 10 20 minutes.
Once the load has been reduced to a satisfactory level the Dosages and the
application frequency can be varied.
9
7. Filters / Membranes Disinfection:
CONCENTRATION: 20 50 PPM
Procedure: Remove the filters from the plant. Wash them with water to remove
excess dust / organic matter any if present, then immerse them in the above
dilution for 20 30 minutes. Wash again with DM / Sterile water and refit them.
The same dilution could be circulated through the system for controlling the bio
load present in CIP / Pipelines / Filters.
At the above dosage there should be no corrosion to the system. Also at this
recommended dosage there is no effect of our product Virosil on Filters /
Membranes.
However we recommend you to first carry the necessary validation trial at your
end to confirm our products efficacy as the SYSTEM and the SOURCE OF
WATER differ from place to place.
7. HAND / FEET DISINFECTION :
CONCENTRATION: 0.5% (5 ml of Virosil Pharma in 1 ltr of Water)
Contact Time: Dip for 30 seconds (ensure entire part is moist)
Procedure:
1) Prepare the dilution as recommended
2) Dip your hands in the solution (wash thoroughly) and then air dry it. The
same is applicable, when working with hand gloves.
3) This solution can be used for a maximum of 5 6 hours.
4) Then prepare a fresh dilution.
5) Wash your hands in the dilution always before re - entering the key area.
All above dosages are indicative. The exact dosages may vary from case to
case depending on appropriate trials.

Dosing & Volumetric Calculations
Volumetric calculations & operating tips:
Length x Breadth x Height of the room in feet will give the volume of the
room. e.g. 10ft. x 10ft. x10ft.= 1000 Cubic Feet [CFT] or 3mtex3mtsx3mts=
27 M3
The time required to fumigate will depend on the dosing of disinfectant.
Barring coastal area where RH% [Percent Relative Humidity] is less than
60%, few disinfectant manufacturers recommended 20% disinfectant + 80%
water. This makes 1000 CC & will cover 1000 CFT. In such case Micro Mist
will fumigate 1 liter formulation in 20 to 25 minutes. Set the timer
accordingly.
When you need to fumigate a room of say 3000 CPT;
Fill the tank with 3 liters of mixture. Place the fogger @ 2.5 ft-from
ground in the corner of a room diagonally on the stool, 4 ft. away from
the corner. (Refer diagram below)
Set the blower-head to point the jet at the joint between the ceiling &
the wall.
Set the timer to 60/70 minutes/ or as per Its indicated.
Open the room after two hours of switching. [1 hour for fogging +1 hour
contact time]
Ensure the sterility & start using the sterile area.
In monsoon, reduce the dose of water.
While you are using micro mist, do not switch on the air conditioner
before or during fogging.
The droplet size being fine, fog / mist will automatically reach all areas,
including difficult to reach areas giving highest efficacy. Motor permits
dry run for maximum 10 minutes.
Direct the nozzle to the joint of
ceilling and wall diagonally.
