    Ministry Philosophy

    Ministry occurs in the living room more than the pulpit. The pastors job is to shepherd his congregation, to guide them through life. This happens in everyday situations, talking with them, sharing meals, helping in farm work, visiting the hospital. My passion is helping individuals grow in their relationship with Christ and families grow in their relationship with each other.

    Personal Summary

    Born on Feb. 20, 1987 in Longview, Texas, I spent my childhood years in Indiana. I was homeschooled throughout my elementary and photo high school years, Insert and I was taught the importance of a close family early. My mother led me to Christ on a snowy winter Sunday when I was 5. She showed me that I was a sinner and that Christ died to take the punishment for my sin. Through high school, I doubted the love of God: how I, being such a great sinner, could be accepted. I studied Romans, discovering who God is and the extent of Christs sacrifice. In college, because of events and situations through which God brought me, with the encouragement and validation of my pastors, I switched vocations to pursue a life of ministry. In my spare time, I enjoy curling up in a chair with a book. I also enjoy walks in nature, woodworking, and maintaining cars.
