EXPERIMENT- 3 Aim: To perform the system analysis: system requirement specification (SRS) Online Admission System
Purpose: The purpose of this SRS document is to specify software requirement of the online admission. The main purpose of the system is to automate the task carried out by different people in the organization to perform the student admission. Functional Requirements R. 1: Registration R. 1.1: Student Registration Description: To register a student detail in the online admission system, the detail of student, such as student name, date of birth, contact number, email id, address, mobile number, other information are entered. Input: student detail R. 1.2: verification Description: Student enter all information about him/her, these are verified. Input: check student information and verify it. Output: verified student information. R. 1.3: Eligibility Description: Check student eligible or not. Input: Check student eligibility. Output: Conformation of eligibility R. 2: Login Description: After done registration, to use user id and password access the system. Input: Check user id and password. Output: Authentic user access the data. R. 3: Declare Information to student R. 3.1: Merit No. Description: When user done registration process, provide a merit no, it help to student to predetermine he/she eligible for which college or university. Input: Check all student complete registration. Output: After complete registration provide merit no. Page 1

R. 3.2: Cut off Marks. Description: University or colleges are declare its cut off mark list. Input: collect cut off marks information from the college or university. Output: Display cut off marks detail to students.

R. 4: Admission process. R. 4.1: Select course and colleges. Description: After cut off marks are declared student can select collages and course form its highest priority to lowest priority order. Input: Student select college and course. Output: select college and done this process and proceed to next step. R. 4.2: Admission round process. Description: In this step real admission process is start, after selecting college in this rounds check that student can eligible for get admission from the selected colleges and course. Input: student participate for this round. Output: declare result to student get admission form its selected colleges. If not then he/she participate for next round. R. 5: Counsellor R. 5.1: counsellor provide allotment latter Description: In this, student are selected in admission round then counsellor check its original certificates and provide an allotment latter. Input: check student selected in admission round and its certificate. Output: provide allotment latter. R. 6: Reporting of candidates at respective institutes Description: Student show the allotment later to the specific college and colleges verified its certificate and allotment latter and conformed its admission. Input: Student verified its certificate and allotment latter to college. Output: Student get conformation latter from the college.

Non-functional Requirement: N1: Performance Requirement: Database should be able to accommodate a minimum 10,000 students. System should be support multiple user at time. N2: Usability Requirements: Usability requirements identified for this system are listed below: A logical interface is essential to make easy use of system, speeding up common tasks. The product could be used by two categories of people mainly administrator category and other users. N3: Security Techniques: Some of the factors that are identified to the software from accidental or malicious access, use, modification, destruction, or disclosure are described below: Keep specific log or history data sets, utilize certain cryptographic techniques and check data integrity for critical variables.
