EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

HRM deals with resources, man power, personal employed in business unit. It is the human resources which brings success & prosperity to business enterprise. HRM include planning, recruitment, selection, induction, performance appraisal, employee training & development, promotion & transfer of employee, compensation payment, career planning and participative management. HRM is most important & useful in every organization it should be used for benefits of the organization. HRM is an art of managing people in an efficient and effective manner. HRM in Indian banking sector also play a very important role. Bank like YES BANK also achieve great success with the help of effective HRM. Hence the banking sector are also adopted the strategic of HRM in their business. The main aim of the HRM is to recruitment and selects the efficient person through the various processes of interview, selection, written exam, performance appraisal, etc. HRM is challenging function as it deals with the employees who are always unpredictable. Employees have emotion and sentiments and cannot be treated like machine. In short bring challenges before HR manager from time to time. It also provides opportunities to grow through the efforts of the efficient devote manpower. Such problem can be solved with the help of devoted team of employees. Hence in todays world the need and importance of HRM is growing very fast.

CONCLUSION
In todays competitive world, it is not only important to stand in the market but also to have constant growth in the business activities. Banks and financial institutions are not an exception. They have to develop innovative techniques to lead in the race. Human resources can be a driving force in the banks overall growth plans aimed at achieving its mission of enhancing stack holders value, becoming a bank of international standard and employer of preferred choice. The banks and financial institution are laying major emphasis on talent acquisition and management to have competitive edge and with this objective, recruitment of probationary officers and officers for various specialized functions have been initiated. With a view to acquire the best talent, banks and financial institutions go for campus recruitment from various premier business schools around the country. The bank provides all opportunities for faster career advancement of performers, which apart from enhancing employee motivation also enables staffs members to meet higher challenges. Towards that end, promotion exercises overseas posting are being conducted on a regular basis. In short, human resources management has become significant component for achieving success in the long run.
