Hence, many different solutions can be built. Suspension brackets The wide range of suspension brackets enables various mounting strategies. For both direct fixation to the ceiling and suspension. Trunkings Pre-wired (TTX 400) and unwired trunkings (TTX 410) allow continuous light-lines as well as semi-continuous lightlines. Both with emergency lighting and dimming system possibilities. The same trunkings can be used for IP 20, IP 40 and IP 60. Electrical units Conventional and low-loss electromagnetic ballasts are available, as well as various electronic ballasts (HFB, HFP, HFR). Other electrical units allow projectors on the trunking, while others (in combination with the IP 60 set) make the system suitable for dusty environments. The electrical units can also be adapted for IP 40 applications. Reflectors As well as the basic white reflector, there is a functional white reflector on which many different attachments and optics can be mounted. Slotted and perforated versions create a more decorative design, suitable for mass retail, public areas and offices.

TTX 400/410

TTX 400/410 Trunking sections This trunking system for both continuous trunking and individual mounting includes prewired (400) and unwired (410) sections. The sections can be easily clicked together using the integrated electrical/mechanical coupling pieces. The trunking is available with a complete range of interchangeable components to offer outstanding flexibility. All the trunking sections are made of galvanised, white enamelled steel to ensure lasting corrosion resistance. Flat ribbon cable, integrated phase selection switch and contact blocks with click connection make electrical connection and connection to the mains quick, simple and safe. The great stability of the sections and coupling pieces limits the number of mounting brackets needed (every three metres). The electrical unit is clicked simply into the trunking for both mechanical and electrical connection. It is also suitable for various surface-mounted luminaires in light lines. Knock-outs are available for through-wiring and the mechanical coupling piece is integrated, also for the non-wired trunkings TTX 410. TTX 400 The prewired section TTX 400 is equipped standard with a 5 - or 7-wire 2.5 mm2 ribbon cable.

In the 7-wire version the connection for dimming or emergency lighting is integrated, so no extra contact blocks are necessary. Both versions are available in length of 2 and 3 electrical units 36 W and 58 W and for 5-wire version also in 1 electrical unit 58 W length. TTX 410 The unwired section TTX 410 offers simple and quick click mounting of the TMX 400 electrical units. Feed-through wiring can be fitted in the trunking sections. Available in length of 2 and 3 electrical units 58 W. The required wiring can be fixed in the trunking using TTX 410 IC, while the electrical connection at the start of the light-line is made with TTX 410 TC. Electrical connection to the basic unit is via TTX 400 DC, which is equipped with a plug and can be easily located at any point on the unwired section. TMX 400

TMX 400 Electrical units These electrical units are designed for quick click mounting in TTX 400/TTX 410 trunking sections. They are for use with one or two TLD lamps, with conventional or electronic (dimming) ballast, in emergency lighting version and in IP 40 or IP 60, in addition to the standard IP 20 version. They contain all the necessary electrical and mechanical functions. All components are screwed onto the electrical unit and they can be combined with any type of reflector. The units are made of galvanised prelacquered sheet steel, guaranteeing high corrosion resistance. TMX 400 are delivered standard with electronic ballast HFP/HFB, electrical connector and lampholders. The dimmable version of the TMX 400 is delivered with the electronic ballast HFR, allowing the light output of the TLD lamps to be regulated from 3% to 100%. TMX 2 lamp

This unit is ideal for (day)lightdependent control and must be mounted to the prewired TTX 400 section with 7-wire ribbon cable. The TMX 400 units with conventional ballasts are supplied with electrical connector, starters, any necessary capacitor and lampholders. TMX 400 are also deliverable in versions with in-built 3-hour emergency lighting. These are mounted in the same way as all the other TMX 400 electrical units and must be used with the prewired TTX 400 trunking section with 7-wire ribbon cable. TTX 400/410 Suspension-/mounting brackets The TTX 400 suspension-/mounting brackets have been designed to allow maximum ease and speed in installation and to provide the greatest possible flexibility in use. All brackets are simply clicked on the trunking. For direct fixation or with chains, threaded rods and steel cables for suspension fixation. Distance between the brackets is up to 3 metres, resulting in faster installation and lower costs. All mounting and suspension brackets are constructed from galvanised stainless steel, painted white.

Lower costs via easier maintenance The TTX system has been specially developed for fast simple installation. But as with all types of equipment it must also be maintained - lamps must be changed, optics must be cleaned and luminaires must occasionally be repositioned. Thats why TTX also offers many maintenancefriendly characteristics. Important, since maintenance costs make up a substantial part of the total cost of ownership. Firstly, TTX 400 is easy to maintain since there are no tools needed for de-mounting the reflector and/or electrical unit. So the changing of the light-line is both simple and fast. The reflector and electrical units can also be de-mounted in one single movement, reducing again the time needed for maintenance. And finally, the highly convenient maintenance position means that all attachments and optics are easily re-fitted after replacing lamps. Simple, fast ordering To ensure that you have no pro-blems in ordering your TTX 400 light-line system, Philips has designed the following ordering table. As you can see, it shows the number of components you will need for specific light-line lengths. The table also tells you how many electrical units you will need. With the use of blind cover strips this will change.

For even easier ordering, the specially developed Easy Calculation Diskette will automatically calculate the number of necessary omponents and compile the complete order list for you. All you need to do is input some basic data. The diskette makes ordering TTX 400 just as easy as installing it.

H/M/SDK 900 A sturdy long lasting quality electrical gear housing of compact and elegant design, suitable to give together with a range of reflector types and attachments, the right solution for low and high bay lighting requirement. Classifications IP 65 (Gear compartment) Class I Complies with IEC 598 Main applications - Industrial areas - Sports halls - Commercial areas or other large halls requiring luminaires, suitable for high mounting ceiling. Features The commercial name for this low and high bay luminaire is Phoenix. It is designed to incorporate low and medium wattage HID lamps. Also the use of QL lamps is possible. The gear housing can be combined with standard Philips aluminium reflector and a range of acrylic reflectors. For use with any of the following HID lamps: 250W or 400W HPL-N, SON or HPI BU (S) lamps. The wattage range between 150 400 watt for HID lamps. QL lamps at 55W and 85W can also be used. Coloured gear housings are possible upon request. The aluminium material is of heat, corrosion and UV resistant type. The luminaire is delivered standard in unpainted version. Painted versions are available upon request. IP65 ingress protection rating in the gear housing is secured throught the use of a neoprene gasket between the housing. The gear box uses Philips standard ballasts and is using silicone cable to improve resistance against the heat inside the housing.

The luminaire is suitable for indoor and outdoor use at an ambient temperature of max 45C. Luminaires in combination with narrow beam reflectors are ideal for lighting in very high halls, or halls with high obstacles and or high machines. Luminaires in combination with wide beam reflectors are suited for relatively low halls and areas where vertical illuminance is required. Luminaires in combination with acrylic refractors are ideal when a percentage (up to 20%) of uplighting is required. Each reflector can be fitted with a glass-dust cover for applications industry and humid areas. Materials and finish The Phoenix range consists of an aluminium gearhousing, mounting cups and a mounting plate. The compact and sturdy luminaire is made of high grade die cast aluminium (very low cu content). The gearhousing closed with stainless steel clips. Installation and mounting The luminaire can be mounted by hook, pipe, tanchion or directly to the ceiling. Mains cable entry is made through the mounting system. Accessories Narrow and wide beam reflectors. Acrylic reflectors. Glass cover for reflectors (HPI-T lamps). Mounting hook for H/M/SDK 900. Cable gland for mounting hook.
