PROBLEM STATEMENT
The Applications Technology release content document for 12.1.3 says that Record History is available on OA Framework pages. How to enable it using framework personalization?

FIX
Please do the following to enable the Record History using framework personalization: 1. Ensure Patch 7303030 - '12.1.1 Maintenance Pack' or a later patch has been applied. 2. Set Profile FND:Record History Enabled set to Yes at the site levle. 3. Please set the Personalize Self-Service Defn / FND_CUSTOM_OA_DEFINTION and FND: Personalization Region Link Enabled / FND_PERSONALIZATION_REGION_LINK_ENABLED profile options to Yes for the user that will do the personalization setup for the forms that are to show the record history. 3. Navigate to the html application form to show record history and click on the personalize link. 4. Check the attributes and make Record History Enabled = True 5. Return to application and the form will show an additional icon for Record History. This is the icon the Users will see. 7. Click on it to verify record history displays appropriately. Also an additional test is to sign in with a User id that does not have the profiles in step 3 set. 8. If you get java.lang.NullPointerException when you click icon for Record History, that means the product team did not enable support for record history for that form/table. Please open a service request with that application team requesting information about record history functionality for that form/table.
