Pray two naf# ra 1as% and in each ra 1a recite surat 6 h#as 1AA or (AA times% and when you are finished with this prayer% say the fo##owin- three times5 ;/a +##ahu /a !ahman /a 'uhsin /a 'u=ammi# /a 'un1im /a 'utafaddi#% +rini Wa=ha 8a,iyyi a 'uhammad Sa##a-a##ahu a#ayhi wa sa##am;% and a#so write these words on white paper and put it under his pi##ow% then he wi## see the Prophet $saw).........

Pray 'a-hri, prayer in the mas=id% and then pray sets of two ra 1at $unti# the adhan for 6sha prayer)% and in each naf# ra 1a recite surat 6 h#as 3 times after >atiha% and after prayin- 6sha in the mas=id% return home and do not spea with anyone. +nd when you are ready for ,ed% pray two ra 1as and in each ra 1a recite 6 h#as G times and finish the prayer with sa#ams. *hen -o down in su=ud% and ma e isti-hfar G times $whi#e in su=ud) and send sa#awat G times% and then say G times5 ;su,han a##ah wa# hamdu #i##aah wa #a i#aha i##a a##ah wa##ahu a ,ar wa #a haw#a wa #a 0uwwata i##a ,i##ahi-# a#iyy a# adheem.; *hen sit up from that prostration% and sit in the position of =a#sa and raise your hands and say $G times)5 ;/a :ayyu /a Dayyum /a Dha1# Ja#a#i wa1# 6 ram /a +rham ar-!ahimeen /a !ahman ad-dunya wa1# a hirata wa !aheemahuma /a +##ahu /a 6#aah a# +wwa#in wa1# + hireen% /a !a,, /a !a,, /a !a,, /a +##ah /a +##ah /a +##ah.; *hen stand
up and raise your hands and say the same thin- once% and recite isti-hfar and sa#awat as much as you wish% then enter your ,ed and s#eep on your ri-ht side...and you wi## see the Prophet $saw) in sha1a##ah. Some of the ri-hteous aw#iya said% ;whoe"er wishes to witness the Prophetic Beauty then #et him ma e wudu1 ,efore -oin- to ,ed% and then sit on his ,ed% ma in- sure it is c#ean% and then recite suras Shams and <ay# and *in% sayin- the Basma#a ,efore each of them% and then ma e fre0uent sa#awat% and end with this du1a5 ;+##ahumma !a,, a# Ba#ad i# :araam wa1# :a##i wa1# :araam wa-r !u ni wa1# 'a0aam% 60ra1 1a#a !uhi 'uhammadin minna-s Sa#aam.; (?. 6t was re#ated that one man used to see the Prophet $saw)% and that he used to recite the fo##owin- sa#awat 16%AAA times5 ;+##ahumma Sa##i 1a#a Sayyidina 'uhammadin wa +a#ihi :a00a Dadrihi wa 'i0darih; (6. 4ne of the Shuyu h of Sidi +hmad Earru0 said5 ;+fter ma in- the fina# sa#am for sa#at a# Jum1a% say ;Su,han +##ah wa Bi :amdihi; 1AA times% and then after 1+sr prayer% say 1AAA times ;+##ahumma Sa##i 1a#a Sayyidina 'uhammadin an-8a,iyy a#-Kmmiyy%; and he tried this in the Prophet1s mos0ue in 'adina% and found it wor ed. (G. :a00i +fandi an-8aFi#i wrote in his ,oo ;*he *reasu1rehouse of Secrets; the fo##owin-5 ;in the year 1(6( 6 as ed my Shay h a,out some specia# +dh ar that wou#d un"ie# to me Di"ine now#ed-es and ,rin- me c#oser to +##ah and connect me to the 'essen-er of +##ah $a#ayhi sa#at wa sa#am)% and he to#d me to recite +yat a# @ursi and the fo##owin- sa#awat5 ;+##ahumma Sa##i a#a Sayyidina 'uhammadin wa a#a +a#i Sayyidina 'uhammadin fi u##i #amhatin wa nafasin ,i 1adadi u##i ma1#umin #a a;% and he said% ;if you are assiduous in this% you wi## ta e the now#ed-es and secrets from the Prophet $saw) unti# you come to ,e under his direct spiritua# trainin- $tar,iya). +nd he said% ;and this is tried and tested% and so-and-so found it to ,e true; and he #isted a num,er of names of peop#e. So on the first ni-ht i tried it% i recited this sa#awat 1AA times% and i saw the Prophet $saw) in my s#eep% and he to#d me% ;$my) intercession is for you and your parents and your ,rothers%; and then i found in my own experience what the Shay h to#d me to ,e true. +nd then 6 to#d many of the 6 hwan a,out this practice% and i found that whoe"er stayed constant with it% recei"ed many extraordinary secrets un#i e others% and in it is many secrets indeed% and this indication shou#d suffice for you.;

Sayyid +hmad Dah#an% the Shafi1i 'ufti of 'a a% wrote in his co##ection of sa#awat the fo##owin-5 ;and amon- the forms of sa#awat that is tried and tested for meetin- the Prophet $a#ayhi sa#at wa sa#am) is the fo##owin-5 ;+##ahumma Sa##i wa Sa##im 1a#a Sayyidina 'uhammadin a# Jaami1i #i +sraari a wad-Daa##i 1a#ay % wa 1a#a +a#ihi wa Sah,ihi wa Sa##im;...e"ery day 1AAA times each. Shay h :asan a#-1+dawi in his commentary on the Da#a1i# a# @hayrat recorded that Shay h a#-'ursi said5 ;Whoe"er recites this sa#awat ?AA times e"ery day and ni-ht - and is constant in that - then he wi## not die unti# he meets with the Prophet $saw) in a state of wa efu#ness $ya0adha). *hat sa#awat is5 ;+##ahumma Sa##i a#a Sayyidina 'uhammadin 1+,di a wa 8a,iyyi a wa !asu#i a an-8a,iyy a#-Kmmiyy wa 1a#a aa#ihi wa sah,ihi wa Sa##im;.

Shay h a#-1+dawi a#so recorded that 6mam a#-/afi1i stated in his ,oo ;Bustan a# >u0ara; that the Prophet 'uhammad $a#ayhi sa#at wa sa#am) stated that% ;Whoe"er prays this sa#awat upon me on >riday 1AAA times% ;+##ahumma Sa##i a#a Sayyidina 'uhammadin in-8a,iyy i#Kmmiyy wa 1a#a aa#ihi wa sah,ihi wa Sa##im; then he wi## see either his <ord or his Prophet
