JMAG Designer Software Installation manual

The new version of JMAG 12 has been released. Follow this link for further information http://www.jmag-international.com/products/jmag-designer.html.

To download the latest JMAG Version 12 please follow these steps:

1) For JMAG Designer version 12 (window 32bit or 64bit) click here: http://www.jmag-international.com/support/en/download/designer/v12/index.html#install 2) Enter your personal access information you received by e-mail (User name and Password), and click OK to open the Download web page.

User name and Password, and click OK

3) Click the Single Download link eng.exe for window 32 bit. (If using window 64 bit, click the single Download link eng_x64.exe)

4) Click Agree to start the download

5a) Save the Installer file in a new folder

5b) Wait until the software is completely downloaded (it might take between 15 minutes and several hours depending on your internet connection)

6) Once it has been completely downloaded, go to the new folder where you saved the software and double click on the .exe file to unzip Installer 7) Click on Extract 8) Click on OK 6

9) Go back again to the new folder where you saved the software and then click on the Setup folder 10) Double click on Setup.exe to install JMAG

11) Follow the instruction on your screen to setup the Installer. If you have SolidWorks installed on your computer click Yes when the program asks you to install JMAG-Communicator.

12) To setup the license file you received by e-mail click on Yes when the program asks Do you setup the license now?

13) Click on Enter License Information

14) Open the notepad file JMAG trail license you received by e-mail and Copy all the content text 15) Paste all the text in the [JMAG License Installer: Enter License Informations] window and click [OK] button. 14 15

16) Go to Start in your desktop, all programs, and open JMAG to check if the installation is completed.
