WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR APPOINTMENT OF CONTRACTUAL FACULTY

NIT-Mizoram, Aizawl is an Institute of National Importance conducting UG programmes in Engineering and Technology. It is one of the 10 (Ten) newly established NITs in the country. Applications are invited from academic personnel from Academic Institutes and R&D Labs in India for the post of Adhoc faculty in Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Department of Mathematics on contract basis (Ad-hoc) with consolidated salary for effective teaching and commitment to enhance the research activities in the Department. Eligible candidates have to report for walk-in-interview at NIT, Silchar as per the schedule given below with original certificates, one set of self attested photocopy of the certificates and two latest passport size colour photographs.

Name of the Post Pay in Rs. Age Preferably below Essential Minimum Qualification required Assistant Professor (Contractual) Rs. 35,000/- (Consolidated) likely to be revised upwardly. 30 years M. Tech or equivalent, for Engineering descipline. Ph. D. for Mathematics.

Other Important Information: 1. All qualifications, experience and age will be recognized as on 20/01/2014. 2. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Interview. 3. There is no application fee.

4. Prescribed application form, summary sheet, academic qualifications and salary details can be seen and downloaded from the Institute website http://www.nitmz.ac.in. 5. Eligible candidates have to report for walk-in-interview at Administrative Building NIT, Silchar, Assam as per the schedule given in notification with original certificates, one set of self attested photocopy of the certificates and two latest passport size colour photographs. 6. The candidates will be interviewed only after scrutiny of educational and experience certificates. Hence it is advisable to bring all the original certificates. 7. Mere eligibility will not vest any right on any candidate for being called for interview. The decision of the institute in all matters will be final. 8. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates in connection with the process of selection/interview. 9. Reservations are applicable as per Govt. of India norms. 10. The Institute reverses the right to fill or not to fill the post advertised. 11. In case of any legal dispute the jurisdiction will be limited to Aizawl court only. 12.
