Rinseyourburettwicewith34mLportionoftheisopropylalcohol watersolution. 3. FillyourburetcompletelywiththeNaOHsolution,makingsurethatnobubblesaretrapped intheburettip. 4. Clamptheburetinaverticalpositionand setyourburettoexactly0.00ml. Theburetshouldthenbecappedwithaloosefittingtesttubeorsmallbeakertopreventthe evaporationofthealcoholfromtheNaOHsolutionandtheabsorption ofCO2 fromtheair. 5.
