Progress log 15th October

I have learnt a lot about music videos, especially the different types of music videos and the connotations that different genres of music video have - this has helped me to analyse different music videos and album covers. I feel my work is going well at this stage, I have finished my storyboard today and I have my song choice confirmed with permission. I have a clear idea of what I am going to do for my music video and with my storyboard I will feel confident when I begin to film it.

Progress log 29th October

I am happy with the progress I have made so far. I have finalised my props list and cast list and updated my location shots, so now I have a definite location and idea for my music video. I am also finishing my animatics to make sure that I know where certain shots are and how long they will last. This will help me out massively when filming my music video as I will know where everything needs to be.

Progress log 12th November

I have come to the point where I have completed all of my pre-production and research work and I am now ready to film. I have chosen my location and I am in the process of getting all of the props I need so I will start filming this weekend.

Progress log 18th November

Due to problems with being unable to find a charger for the camera I planned to take out over the weekend, I have not started filming as of yet. I plan to take out a camera and a tripod this week and begin filming the exterior shots for my music video, which will keep me on time with my schedule.

Progress log 22nd November

Due to problems with taking out a camera I have been held back in terms of my shooting schedule. I plan to start filming this weekend and I by Monday I plan to have all of my exterior shots filmed. I need to bring the camera and tripod back on Monday however the following week I plan to begin filming the interior shots for my music video and then do reshoots if needed.

Progress log 26nd November

I have started filming over the weekend and I have filmed all of the exterior shots for my music video. I have started putting the clips together and I have made a start on my music video. owever, I am still behind in regards to my shooting schedule and I will need to take out the camera sometime next week to film the interior shots. Progress log 5th December

I have edited all of the clips together and I am about halfway through my music video. I will need to do some re-shoots and I plan to take out a camera and a tripod next week and film the remaining shots. !etween then and now I have started my digipak for my song.

Progress log 10th December

I have completed editing the first half of my music video and I am taking a camera and a tripod out tomorrow to film the second half of my music video. I am also beginning my digipak for my music video and I am in the process of creating a music video to help brainstorm ideas for my digipak.

Progress log 13th December

I took a camera out for " days and I have filmed the second half of my music video. I have also filmed some reshoots of shots I was not happy with. I will need to edit in the new clips I have filmed and there I will have completed my music video. I have also worked on the text for my digipak and I will need to take out a digital camera at some point to take some photos and then I can decide which one to use for my digipak.

Progress log 17th December

I have edited about # minutes "$ seconds into my music video meaning I have only about "$ seconds left of footage to edit to complete my music video. I am unsure if I am going to do more reshoots as I am already behind on my filming schedule.

Progress log 6th Januar

It has been a while since I have made any more progress on my music video. I do not have much more footage to edit but it does look as though I will need to do some more reshoots. I have also been brainstorming ideas for my digipak and I am going to look at taking out a camera soon to take some photos for it.

Progress log 7th Januar

I have finished my editing today and my video is " minutes long exactly. I am unsure as to whether I will do any reshoots as I am happy with the finished product. I will need to start my digipak now however I am not set on an idea for it.

Progress log 15th Januar

I have rendered my final video and I have also completed my poster. I will need to start thinking about ideas for my album cover soon. I am happy with the progress I have made so far as I have completed my video and poster and all of my coursework is on my blog.

Progress log 17th Januar

I have started the front cover of my album cover and I have chosen an idea for my front cover. I will need to finish my front cover soon and start thinking of what I can put on the other sides of the digipak.

Progress log 2!th Januar

I have completed the front and back cover of my digipak and I now need to begin the inside of the digipak. To complete my front and back covers I have taken pictures on two different cameras to use on my digipak and I am unsure if I am going to use these for the inside covers of the digipak.

Progress log 28th Januar

I have chosen some ideas for the other panels of my digipak. I want to do a panoramic which will cover the top " panels of the digipak and do a close up shot

of myself with the same colour scheme as the other panels. opefully I will be able to complete my digipak this week.

Progress log 30th Januar

I have completed all % panels of my digipak. &or the top " panels I have made a panoramic shot that is rural like the environment of my music video. I have now completed my digipak, consisting of my album artwork and my poster. I am also having some issues with rendering my music video that I will need to address.

I have made some changes to my album art and I have printed it. I am happy with the end result and I will now need to fix the rendering problems I have with my video. 'fter that I will have completed my digipak, my poster and my video which gives me time to make some changes to my coursework and focus on my blog more.

Progress log 7th "ebruar

I have received feedback on the work I have done so far. In my music video I need to remove some of the repeated shots and remove the fade parts in the editing. I also need to include conventions on my poster (record label) and change the &acebook and Twitter logos. &or my digipak I need to change some of the images on the extra panel to fit more with the style of my digipak, Most of the changes I need to make are in my music video and I may need to take out a camera again to get the shots I need. I have mades the changes on my digipak and my poster, although I will also need to do a new panoramic.

Progress log 10th "ebruar

I have made some changes to my coursework based on my feedback. I have done some editing to my music video however it is mostly still the same, however I have made significant changes to my digipak and my poster. I have included some of the connotations of posters that I had missed out before, such as the logo for the record label and for my digipak I have replaced my digipak with recurring images of the blackbird for the top " layers. This blackbird will be my motif as it is present on my poster as well and features in the music video I analysed for the comparative essay.

I have finished my digipak and I have printed my digipak. I am very happy with the finished product and it looks crisp and not blurred. *ow that I have finished my digipak and my poster all that is left to do is a small bit of editing on my music video that will not take long.

Progress log 1!th "ebruar Today is the deadline for the post production and I will need to put my digipak, poster and video onto my blog. !efore that I need to do a little more editing based on my feedback before I feel my video is complete.
