In Matmata visiting underground cave house, stop at the view point, enjoying
moon landscape and lunch.
Dahar
Mountains

Way through the Dahar Mountains marvelous landscape, stops at the view points.
Going through many small exotic villages and mountain passes.
Ksar Hadada
Visiting ksar

Ksar is a kind of Berber fortified granary. There are many in the area but most of
them deserted and destroyed . This one is well preserved and is known from the
Star Wars film.
Chenini.
Mountain village

Chenini is a famous so called hanging village stretched on the top of the
mountains. Although partly deserted still is a very attractive place to visit.

Ksar Ghilane oasis is located almost 100 km deep in the Sahara Desert. This oasis is

Star Wars


Famous decorations in the middle of the desert used in Star Wars saga. In the film

Very exciting ride through the dunes, a chance to make incredible pictures..

Off road


Off road trough Paris Dakar rally route located on Shott el Gharsa salt lake. An
unforgettable experience.

Short break at so called Ong Jmel mountain which resembles sitting camel. The
mountain was used a scenery for many films e.g. The English Patient.
Breathtaking views of Shott el Gahrsa salt lake. If the weather is sunny enough you

Chebika is believed to be the most beautiful of all tunisian mountain oasis. On the

Safety rules
During trip with four wheel drive you MUST FASTEN SAFETY BELTS ALL THE TIME even if during not off-road parts of the trip.
To protect from sunstroke, water should be drunk frequently and the head should be protected by sun hat.. .
There is a tiny change of finding scorpions at large on the way.. Keep away from lifting stones , as the scorpions usually hide themselves under the stones
or in other naturally shaded places

Departure dates

3 day Jeep Safari is a tour with a very small number of participants usually 4 to 5 and in high season no more than 12
persons. The whole tour is organized with 4x4 Toyota land cruiser
Unlike Sahara Explore which is organized weekly, Jeep Safari is organized about once a month depending on number of
reservations. In case
The group is small which radically increases prices, you still have a chance to visit all the places included in this tour.
Just join Sahara Explorer and then in the middle of the second day split and continue with 4x4. For more details see
Sahara Extended Itinearary.
DATE OF DEPARTURE IS ALWAYS SET INDIVIDUALLY ACCORDING TO ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE DATE OF PARTICIPANTS

Ksar Ghilane nor Ksur area included. All in all those itineraries are very similar to our Sahara Explorer just more relaxing, extended for 3 days and by 4x4 car
