Overview This purpose of this lesson booklet is to further refine and develop your skills in the use of the Pro/DESKTOP designing software. This activity was created for the person who has very little to no experience using Pro/DESKTOP. The steps in each exercise are very thoroughly explained. Detailed graphics are also included with the explanation. As you progress through the booklet, the explanations and pictures for a specific skill will become less explanatory. The booklet was purposefully designed this way to stretch your comfort zone and hone your skills in using the software. You may need to refer back to a previous step, until you become more proficient. The following areas are covered at least once while completing the project. Revolved Profile Extruded Profile Extruded Tapered Profile Redefine Extrusions Create Workplanes Create Offset Workplanes Create Sketches Setting an Active Sketch Rename Workplanes & Sketches Duplicate Rectangular Duplicate Circular Setup Units Drawing Lines Drawing Circles Selecting Lines, Faces and Edges Delete Line Segments Create Construction Lines Add Rounds to Edges Using Shift key with Line Tool Use Line Tool with Grid Offset Mirror Mouse Functions Assembly w/ Align, Mate and Center Axes.
