IMP Cognos Configuration

1) Go to Start > Administrative Tools, right-click on Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager and select R n as administrator!

;hen an IIS A%%lication for cgi-3in is created it 'ill ma% the I=M *ognos gate'a5 mod les to the a%%lication %ool created earlier! 1) In the IIS Manager4s left e$%lorer %ane find the virt al director5 +i3mcognos+ created earlier! Right-click on the virt al director5 and select Add A%%lication!

")In the A%%lication %ool> field, select the a%%lication %ool created earlier i!e +I=M *ognos 1?+ 35 35 clicking on the +Select!!!+ 3 tton! And %ress 01 to save the changes!

1)In the IIS Manager, select the 'e3 server in the tree vie' on the left and in the content %ane select the +7eat res <ie'+ ta3 at the 3ottom! @ook for +ISA(I and *GI Restrictions+ feat re!

"):o 3le-click on the +ISA(I and *GI Restrictions+ feat re! This 'ill 3ring % the list of defined restrictions in the middle %ane of IIS Manager! ))In the %%er right Actions %ane, click Add!!!
