Tubular Heat Exchanger Rating Sheet: Start o 2 o o 3 2 o 2 o

The document provides steps and calculations for sizing a medium pressure feedwater heater. It involves inputting flow properties for the tube and shell sides, selecting tube dimensions, estimating tube counts and passes, calculating heat transfer rates and pressure drops, and iterating the design values. Key outputs include the required heat transfer area of 450 square feet, tube count of 2,450, and pressure drops of 1.871 psi and 11.74 psi for the tube and shell sides respectively.
