Product

The product we are trying to market, in and of itself, is quite unique. The fact that the flavoured popcornis a quite uniqe product in the market. in our survey that we conductd in the market, it shows that almost 90% potential customer showed their interest in the flavoured popcorns & almost 56% customer want to eat the flavoured popcorns. Because people knows that popcorns are healthier and good in tatse. 88% of our potential consumers showed that they are aware about the taste of the product and they purchase popcorn because of their taste. Three packaging options we recommend marketing the popcorn. We used primary research to determine the packaging options. Most of our respodents showed their interest in purchasing the popcorns in pouch pack and some also showed their interest in the tin pak, so we will offer our product in both packing to attract all the potential customers. Almost 62% potential customer want to purchase popcorn in pouch pack and 31% showed their interest in purchasing popcorns in tin pack. We will use two type of packaging in our product to attarct the most of the customers. we used primary research to determine the packaging options. We found that most types of popcorn were available in plastic bags, microwavable bags, and jars. All of these types of packages were primarily available for food consumption use. However, our product is more on the novelty side of corn, as we are going to introduce the popcorns in different flavores. With reference to the results of our questionnaire from which we collected data from the market showd that, the best packaging choice to market is the pouch pack.

Promotion
The promotion of a product is strongly tied to the place, price, and packaging. But what separates promotion from the other "Ps" of marketing is how its sale is publicized. Where should advertising be placed / what media outlets should be used? When should advertising take place? According to the responses given during the questionnaire sessions, most of the people recommended that they become aware about the product through the T V advertisement and at the 2nd number the advertisement through billborads stands out. So in the promotion of our product we will start our marketing compaign through the T V channels, for this purpose we will catch the local cable operators to start the marketing compaign. We will go some motion ads on different times specially we will focus on from 5:00PM to 11:00 PM. We will advertise and promot our thorugh the Bill boards at the specific places where the flow of the people is more in the day..

Promotion on campus that targets faculty, staff and students, may be most feasible for a student organization. Conducting presentations in conjunction with the residential college programs would be a great way to combine education and product sales. Offering popcorn and other refreshments to those in attendance could enhance a brief program outlining the history of the product, its current status, and the purchasing options. Advertising for flavoured Popcorn should coincide with specific University events and certain times of the year. For example, sports gala, Funclaires would be an opportune time to catch faculty, students, parents, and alumni. Other "hot" advertising times include the duration of summer vacation when the studnets are free from schools, colleges, and universities and have free time to visit the outlet with friends and often can manaage the time for watcing movies.cecuase watching the movie or any other entretainment programs on the Television will enhance our sale. By placing a few ads in the public, information about the sale should travel quickly.

Place
Place will need to be determined on the preference of the target market. When conducting the questionnaire on flavoured Popcorn numerous ideas were introduced. The most important goal that was established when determining a place and time to distribute the product is making the product easily obtainable. We ask different option in the questionnaire. According to the data filled through questionnaire. Most people want to buy the popcorns from the shop. So we will open a shop for popcorn in the main market satelite town. At this place the flow of the people is maximum. Because many people of this area and the adjucent areas used to visit the market for their shopping purpose. So to open an outlet at this place is benificial for the business, so that we can attract more potential customers.

Price
With all other points in place, price is the most atractive item that needs to be established. Price should be according to the perception of the customer. In our questionnaire we placeed some suggestion according to price of the product most of the people (66%) shows their willingness to pay for a cup of the popcorn round about 40-60 Rs. Our product is a unique product in the market and we want to capture most of our potential customer so we will use market penetration pricing strategy instead of the market skimming prices. In this way we can attract most of the customer.

Our ongoing research and information provided by our respondents helped us to conclude that there is in fact a market for flavoured popcorns. The target market and the most beneficial aspects needed to be included in each of the 4 Ps: product, price, promotion, and place have been discovered.
