2riddlers are picture logic puzzles in which cells in a grid have to 3e
colored or left 3lan according to num3ers given at the side of the
grid to reveal a hidden picture. +n this puzzle t0pe4 the num3ers
measure how man0 un3roen lines of filled5in s$uares there are in
an0 given row or column. 6or e7ample4 a clue of 8( . 38 would mean
there are sets of four4 eight4 and three filled s$uares4 in that order4
with at least one 3lan s$uare 3etween successive groups.
9hese puzzles are often 3lac and white 3ut can also have some
colors. +f the0 are colored4 the num3er clues will also 3e colored in
order to indicate the color of the s$uares. 9wo differentl0 colored num3ers ma0 or ma0 not have a
space in 3etween them. 6or e7ample4 a 3lac four followed 30 a red two could mean four 3lac spaces4
some empt0 spaces4 and two red spaces4 or it could simpl0 mean four 3lac spaces followed
immediatel0 30 two red ones.
