Ee2352 Solid State Drives Syllabus

This document provides an overview of the EE2352 course on solid state drives. The course aims to study the operation of electric drives controlled by power electronic converters and introduce controller design concepts. The objectives are to understand steady-state and transient motor load system dynamics, analyze converter-fed DC drives, study induction motor drives, understand differences between synchronous and induction motor drives, and analyze and design controllers for closed-loop solid-state DC drives using simulation software. The course covers drive characteristics, converter-fed DC motor drives, controller design for drives, induction motor drives, and synchronous motor drives over 5 units spanning 45 periods.
