I play with how the mind works and try to understand how we seem to have so much control yet a little bit of chemical substance shooting through our brains turns reality around. I like to use butterflies in my works because their beauty and colours can be so intense yet the lifetime of these little creatures is so short, much the same as how a mind can be deeply influenced to produce experiences a thousand times more powerful than a normal day for mere hours then hit deep lows from its separation.
