Man is a spirit, has a soul, and lives in a body. But man is not a tripartite being, yet the three departments are not really the same. We have seen man live his life in a physical realm, we have also seen him in the mental realm, there is only one more realm that we should see him live as a giant; and that is the spiritual realm to which he actually belongs. The word of God is able to make spiritual giant of men; this is where we find out what it means when we say greater is he that is in me, than he that is the world. The bible tells us that God builds our spirit through two beautiful materials, of which one is the word of God. Through the word of God we are built spiritually because every time you study Gods word or you hear Gods word the message comes into your spirit you receive something into you. You are growing stronger and your victorious life is equivalent to the revelation of Gods word that He has given us eternal life; and this is in His son. He that hath the Son hath the life, and the life Hes talking about is the very life of the Almighty God. In John 5:26, Jesus says,For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; The life of Jesus was the life of the Father. Jesus never needed to draw life from the Father because He was given inherent life. 1 Corinthians 15:45 says the first Adam was made a living soul, so everybody whos born into this world is born after the first Adam. But when he fell by his transgression, everybody born into this world is born into that life of depravity. The bible

says the second and the last Adam who is Jesus came in as a life giving Spirit. There is only one Spirit that can give life, and that is the Spirit of God. We are born after the second and last Adam (Jesus). James 1:18, Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. We are born of Him! 1 John 4:17, as he is so are we in this world not in heaven but in this world. As he is it is in the now, not later. God has given us life that we should be successful in everything, but many dont know this. It is wrong for a Christian to be poor as it is wrong for a Christian to live in sin; it is just as wrong for a Christian to be sick. I know most of you only agree with the second one. But I dont mean that the symptoms of sickness will not attack you, and it doesnt mean that the conditions of poverty may not come to you. When you give me something I would like to know the value because once I know the value, I will know how to treat it. What is the value of His death? youve got to be careful. Value comes by information. When you know what the blood of Jesus really means then you want to know what its in that salvation. He died that you should never be sick again, that you should never be poor in this world, and that your life should be victorious completely. He died that you may have life and have it more abundantly. He died to make you a covenant partner with the Almighty God, with Jehovah, the great Elshadai! When you know that, even when you do not see a crown on your head you know you are a Prince of power with Almighty God. What else makes us kick? What are the things that inspire us? Why do you think we can come out boldly irrespective of nasty criticism? Because we are born of God and the bible says Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that over cometh the world, even our faith Knowing this, we can not be distracted because we are sent of God, and we have a divine mandate to fulfill. Paul said, we are regarded as poor but we are making many rich. We make you rich by teaching you how to be successful in life, how to use supernatural power over physical material powering this world and how to dominate circumstances living above conditions and situations of this world. We are not just teaching it because we read it in the library; we are teaching it because we are anointed! Glory to God! Theres an anointing, a supernatural enablement, something a man cant give and cant take away. Theres something about the Spirit of God when He rests on your tongue. say, receive your sight blind eyes open up! How can you explain it? Someone born deaf and dump be unstopped and ears are unstopped! How can you explain it? I have a wonderful preacher friend who was among those who use the oil and the mantle. They would anoint everything, their tongue to talk, their feet to walk, and their cars to drive well. And they use a handkerchief to hang on the door and pour holy water all around. So I asked him how he got involved in it and how he got out. He told me how he got in and how he got out. He says I was watching you on T.V and observed you dont use the oil or the mantle but, you are still getting bible results. He said, Then I asked myself, what was I doing with all this things? Thats why I threw them away. Its bible results for bible principles. I dont sell any oil to anybody. 1 Corinthians14:14,For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. It is your Spirit thats speaking. The Bible Christians when they came to church, they prayed in the Holy Ghost first. They didnt pray in their understanding first. In other words I dont understand what I am saying when I pray in an unknown tongue its my Spirit that is praying. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with my understanding also: I will sing in the spirit, and I will sing with my understanding also Notice its the understanding that is the also. But we have it backwards; we pray in our understanding and pray in the spirit also. Thats why we have got a lot of problems. Also is the lesser, the greater one is praying

in the spirit. Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret. Why is that? If therefore the whole church be together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that you are mad? He says if everybody is speaking in tongues and non Christians came around arent they going to think that ye are mad? So he says we shouldnt speak in tongues. Now some people, because of their lack of understanding of spiritual things, they hold on to it and ask why we pray the way we do, they believe its wrong, because they dont know. There is a difference between praying in tongues and speaking in tongues. Speaking in tongues means preaching in tongues or giving a message in tongues. Thats why we need interpretation so that others can be blessed. I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying. In other words speaking in tongues plus interpretation equals prophesy. But if there is no interpretation, then prophesy is greater, because the man edifies the church and the other doesnt, but whenever you speak in tongues you are edified, whether you are talking to God or to men.

Therefore we can all pray in tongues but we shouldnt all preach in tongues because we would need interpretation to know what the message is saying.

In verse14-15, he didnt say the Holy Ghost prayeth, he said, my spirit prayeth. Before you speak in English in your prayer, pray in Holy Ghost, it is greater. It is better to pray in tongues than to pray in your own understanding. Why? For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. What would happen if you walk into church as the service is about to start and everybody just comes in praying in other tongues? Youll be ready to receive and you wont struggle to listen, your mind will not wonder around. You will be activated. But some even when you are told to pray in tongues in church they dont, some dont even believe in it. Thats garbage! If you dont believe in it, it doesnt mean its not right. You are cheating yourself. By the way it compulsory, its not optional. Receiving the Holy Ghost is compulsory for a genuine Christian life.

Nobody can live the real Christian life without the Holy Ghost. What that person has is religion. The word edify comes from a Greek word that means build- up/ charge/ embolden. If you were timid about something, start speaking in tongues, the Bible says he that speaketh in an unknown tongue emboldens himself he charges himself. It is a quick charge, because it responds immediately. Long charging needs prayer and fasting. But for quick charge speak in tongues, it wouldnt take a minute, and suddenly you are another man. When the Holy Ghost came upon Samson, he was changed from being just a little guy walking around a moment ago. Every time when he faced the adversaries, the spirit of the Lord came upon him, he was a different man. Start speaking in tongues, charge yourselves up!! Build your spirit strong! Hallelujah!
