Re-Doing Synopsis
Re-Doing Synopsis
A girl is lying on the ground in the middle of the street, its nearly dawn, if he is to save her, it has to be done now, before sun rise; He walks towards her, his long cloak flows with the wind as he walks, how many minutes would it take to change her? 3? 5? How long until sun rise? 7? 8? He should be long gone from this crime scene but he just couldnt ignore that dying human. He stops a couple of steps before reaching her, she looks bad, real bad, but her smell is really sweet and her face is so kind even though its contorted from the pain she is feeling as life is running out of her, he kneels next to her and take her into his arms, shes so small, how old could she be? What difference does it make? He leans to her neck and she gives a small gasp and he stops, a centimetre from her warm skin, from that pumping vein, he leans and kisses her forehead and asks if she want to be saved from death? He could give her life but in exchange this life that she knew had to be gone forever. Her lips barely moving makes the words take my pain away. He sticks his fangs on her thin neck and sucks no more than a gulp away, she already lost too much blood, giving him wrist to her he orders her to drink from him, and she does. The sun is coming up; he enwraps her in his cloak and vanishes like a puff of smoke. Born to darkness she is, but she does not know what she became. She must learn.
This is a detailed extract from my previous synopsis in which Ive decided to do this part as the opening scene for my film. The theme is to be about self-conflict and behaviour with a bit of romance and some action. I want my character Rebecca (the new born vampire) to be confused towards how to behave as a vampire and to conflict with her old life as she needs to take on new actions for her new life I also want her to conflict to what she feels towards Alucard (her creator) I want her to love and hate him at the same time. The binary opposite that will be used in this opening scene will be the opposites between the already made vampire Alucard who is dark and mysterious, who dresses in black and red clothes and wear a long cloak to the dying Rebecca, who at that moment is defenceless and exposed. The main iconography that I would like to use is dark clothing, the lack of sun, him showing some supernatural power (smelling her blood from afar) and fangs, also the conventional blood transfusion to turn her into a vampire
