My Classroom My classroom is big. It has many windows. There is a blackboard in the front. There are benches and tables for us. Pretty charts are on the wall. There is a table and a chair for my teacher. There are many books for us to read.

Unit 2

All About Me (narrative)

Writing skill: Always use a capital letter to start a sentence. Use a full stop at the end of each sentence. Leave a space between words. All special names begin with capital letters. Remember to write the title. Write clearly and neatly.

All About Me My name is Sophia Basnet. I am a girl. I am six years old. I live in New Road. I study in Nightingale School. I am in class one. I like to eat fruits. My favourite colour is purple. (refer to copy)

My Best Friend (narrative)

Writing skill: A paragraph should have a main idea. All the other sentences should be about it.

My Best Friend My best friend's name is Mingma Dorjee. He is six years old. He studies in my school. He is in my class. He is short and chubby. He likes to eat all the time. He is very funny. His favourite cartoon show is Ben 10. He likes to play games. His favourite colour is blue.
