EE 694: Renewable Energy Resources: Schedule Semester Credit Hours Pre-Requisite

This course covers various renewable energy resources including solar thermal, wind power, photovoltaic, micro-hydro, fuel cells, and geothermal energy systems. Students will learn about the design, implementation, analysis and economic considerations of these systems. They will also learn how to model and simulate renewable energy systems using software tools like Spice and Matlab. Topics include wind turbines, solar cells, energy conversion principles, battery storage, and integrating renewable systems into electric grids. Assignments, quizzes, a midterm and final exam will be used to evaluate students.
