Web based Applications for Insurance Services Abstract A person makes a contract with the insurance agent by paying

some amount then person will get money from the insurance if specific event has happened which is referred in the policy of insurance. This service is called insurance service. Also that person will get specific amount of money after the maturity of insurance amount. Premium amount is paid periodically to the Corporation by the contract. A institute which is risk free for the people to invest is insurance, because it will comes to the timely aid of the family in the unfortunate event of death of the breadwinner or after the maturity of policy. The different types of Insurance services which are included in this software are given below: 1. Life Insurance, 2. Home Insurance 3. Travel Insurance 4. Medical Insurance 5. Motor Insurance The officials of the insurance company can view and update the details of this project through internet. The online insurance software is developed using ASP.Net as frontend and MS SQL server 2000 as backend on Windows XP platform. The features of the Online Insurance Service are: 1) New Users can get information through online by registering with the site. 2) Insurance Companys various policies and schemes can be viewed by a user through online. 3) An policyholder can calculate his premium and view his policy details using this software. 4) The new strategies and subsidiary schemes of the company will be given in the website of the online insurance service. 5) This service also provides loan facility for policyholders and online payments. Result Alert System With E-mail and SMS The Result Alert System with E-mail and SMS system is shown in the below figure: Let us know about how e-mail and sms is used in result alarm system. E-mail and sms technology is implemented in this result alarm system for the getting the exam results fastly and reliable. The problem student are facing is they have to wait for the result of their exams after the publication of exam result by the university/board. By using E-mail and SMS in this system exam results are provided to the needed candidates in short span of time.

By providing their E-mail Id and mobile number the candidates who have registered can get their result in their mobile or computer. After this Students exam result will be automatically provided at their mail box so they can view their result in that e-mail also their exam result status will be sent as a message to the provided mobile phone number. So, students no need to wait for the university to publish their result in schools or colleges also no need to call the result center. These are the main advantages of result alarm system using e-mail and SMS. POWER SUPPLY USED FOR THIS SYSEM: It provides required power, 5V to the circuits. MICROCONTROLLER: In our project for interfacing the details with GSM modem and computer, a micro controller is used called ATMEGA8535. It provides control of the whole system and also it connects the DTMF and speaker ICs. TELEPHONE SYSTEMS Two telephone systems are there in this result alarm: One at the user end and another at the result publishing center. The result publishing center uses a mobile phone and caller can use any type of telephone system. SPEAKER The main job of speaker which is interfaced with speaker IC of this system i.e. APR9600 is to feed the voice responses from the speaker IC to the mouthpiece of the telephone at the result center. MAX232 The computer and GSM modem are interfaced with Microcontroller using this Max 232. RS-232 standard of computer and GSM modem are made compatible with CMOS logic of microcontroller using Max 232. APR9600 The instruction to the caller is provided by the speaker IC called APR9600. In the memory of this speaker IC the instructions to be conveyed to the caller are stored with prior to application. After the call is established the controller triggers it to prompt the caller to dial their register number. DTMF DECODER The register number entered by caller has keystrokes, which is decoded using this DTMF Encoder. According to the received frequencies of each digit which is entered, the number is decoded and fed to the microcontroller.

GSM MODEM This controller of this system sends data i.e. exam result to to the mobile of the candidate using GSM MODEM. PC The entire computer system which stores all details of candidates, must be configured by a high level programming language to make the system automatically send the result details to the mail Id provided for each candidate. It also transmits the result status to controller for messaging purposes.

Face Recognition in e-attendance Introduction Face recognition is more useful in the areas like network security, content indexing & retrieval and video compression. Face recognition is useful for users because in most of the videos, people are the center of attraction, for them it is useful. In social network revolutionary technology is face recognition which helps users to recognize users and user interaction between each other will get increased. This also prevents the hacking of your account in social network because hackers cant hack your account and misuse it. A mathematical process is used to generate a set of eigen faces from a training set consists different human faces is called Principal Component Analysis(PCA). The variation b/w images in the training set vary from the mean image in that direction is represented using the eigen values associated with each eigenface. We can project a new(mean-subtracted) image on the eigenfaces and thereby record how that new face differs from the mean face. By keeping those eigen faces with the largest eigen values we can minimise the information which is lost when projecting image. The eigen faces can be used to represent both existing and new faces. This is useful in getting the attendance of students in college. This process checks students input image with training set image, attendance of student is marked as present if match is found and marked as absent if it is not matching each other. This prevents proxy and duplicate entry in the attendance of student. Purpose of this software: The main purpose is to implement e-attendance of students using eigen face algorithm. After analysing face detection and face recognition techniques by the researcher, he will select which is appropriate technique to extract partial face of the individual student. The details like introduction, domain research, system research, project development plan, requirement specification and technical investigation of above mentioned areas will be there in the document. Finally appropriate image processing techniques, face detection techniques and face recognition techniques

were selected and justified along with selection of the project developing methodologies and project developing platforms. Based on characteristics of separate face segmentations of individuals face recognition system will identify individuals, as follows: 1. Improve capabilities of the detecting features of local segmentations of face: For extracting features of the face segmentations you must have to find the efficient algorithm for it. 2. To recognise difference between individuals investigation is done on unique face features of eye, nose and mouth regions of individuals. Using this project identifying unique features of the individuals is done. When it come to separate face regions there are less unique features that help to identify individuals. 3. Implement robust, efferent face recognition system based on facts found in the research. Online Examination System Introduction Online Examination System This system is beneficial for the students.Because they dont need to go to the exam halls for writing exams on particular exam date. For every course which is present in the university you can conduct online examination using this project using internet. The most important applications used in this project are as given below: 1. Question Bank maintenance Application 2. Exam processing Application 3. Report Generation Application 1. Question Bank maintenance: Maintaining the question bank is done using this application. This application contains the following modules: 1. Question Entry: New questions in Text/Image format are entered into the database in this module. 2. Maintaining the student Details and Course details in the database 3. Question Editor: The existing questions are modified and also can be deleted from the database by the authorized faculty in this module.

4. Entry Check: Entry of faculty can be checked using a login form and the user makes subject selection before Entering/Updating questions using this module. 5. It is necessary to create tables for Exam conducting application. 2. Exam Processing: The exam will be conducted to candidates and the results of each and every candidate will be stored in the database. Also the application stores the questions and specified answers of each question for each student in the proof table for future verification. This application is supposed to contain the following Modules. 1. Connecting to Database: With the help of user credentials such as User id and password, Server Name, the application connects to the database in this module. Application will display the student login form after its successful connection to the database. 2. Student identification: The details like roll number, user id and password of student will be entered by the student in this module for login to write online exam. The candidate can view his question form, after successful login. This form includes all the required options for answering to questions. 3. Submission of results: The candidate will answer to all questions in the question form then he needs to click on Submit button available at the bottom of the question form. The details of questions and answers of each candidate will be stored in database after submit button clicked and application compares with correct answers and soon it will display the marks report to the candidate. 3. Report Generation: This application serves the authority to make a report of the examination results course wise (or) Semester wise (or) Roll number wise. The facility for the authority to store the results in an excel file is also included in the application. This application comprises of the following Modules. 1. Entry Screen: After examination conducted, the subject codes of each and every semester/Course will be displayed in this module. 2. Marks Report for Each Course: On the basis of different subjects, semesters and courses this module will generate the marks reports. 3. Transferring report to excel file: This application gives authorization for creating excel copy of all the values in marks reports.

The main function of the system is to register patients and store the patient details and staff details of the hospital and admin can retrieve these details when he requires and manipulation of these details is carried by admin/user. This software stores diagnostic details, treatment details, status of the patients in computer in a faster and safer method, before this is done by admin manually. To enable or enhance user interaction with an application an object is used in the form called control. A user can enter the data and can view the result through a form, which is a major part of Visual Basic application.
