He gave the board a summary of the process and discussions to date. The three main options that surfaced as favorable per the group discussions include a pre-k through 4 elementary, prek through 6, and 9-12 high school. Champa and Warneke also provided their views on the progress to date. Both are very pleased with the participation and dialogue. Leland noted that at the last meeting, a site evaluation team was formed. They will meet after the board meeting to schedule a couple of meetings in order to have information for the board retreat. F. SUPERINTENDENT REPORT: Supt. Beniak noted that we were recently recognized as an ACT testing site. The teacher evaluation pilot program is in process at this time. This is a rigorous process, but will be very beneficial down the road. She noted also that the tax levy will likely decrease. She also plans to provide the staff with a facility update as she wants them to be in the loop as well.
