INERT GAS SYSTEM

PRODUCT TYPES:
hfo/mgo/mdo/gas fueled generator for inerting tankers. Inert gas generator system in combination with exhaust gas from main engine or auxilary engines for fuel saving. Normal generator + flexinert venturi. Can be operated in two modes: 1. Generator mode 2. Fluegas mode with suction of flue gas from boilers through flex venturi and scrubbing in generator. IGG, dual fuel-capable to use natural gas or mgo/mdo/hfo as fuel for inerting fpsos/fsus. Application are tankers, fpsos and oil barges. All systems and capacities available.

All our inert gas systems are skid mounted ready for hook-up.

Advantages
Full automatic turn down (fuel saver) Fully Automatic operated, no manual operation (O2 content, IG-flow, alarms etc.) Easy maintenance Oil spill prevention Experience from continuous testing and delivered projects are incorporated in our latest design All generator units have a horizontal, recessed combustion chamber. This construction retains fuel oil that, in a event of misfire, would otherwise be disharged overboard. The PLC control logic has a specially designed burner ignition sequence that will ensure a flawless ignition of the unit every time, hence further eliminating the possibility of a flame failure.

Operation & Maintenance

Graphical LCD operator terminal, all major process parameters displayed on the screen. Burner combustion chamber in high performance austenitic stainless steel (ASTM N08904). Easy access to burner and combustion chamber by hinged burner front door (no tools required). Easy inspection and easy replacement of scrubber components by entering man hole and removable top plate. Easy installation, panels are connected via two pair serial data wires + power supply (2 wires).

Brief Description
Inert gas generation produce clean and soot free inert gas by combustion of air and gas fuel in Maritime Protection burner/combustion chamber. Automatic O2 regulation by venturi and fuel pump motor speed controller. Efficient cooling in scrubber tower. High pressure centrifugal blower supplies air to burner chamber and provides inert gas to cargo tanks. System capacity is automatically controlled by deck pressure set-point in software. Maritime Protection Pressure Vacume Breaker ensure safe loading and off loading.
