    VOLUME 2 , ISSUE 41 Wednesday Nights Join us for a great time of fellowship at our Wednesday evening meals (5:00 6:00pm). Catered by Lizards Thicket, the cost is $6.00 for Adults and $3.00 for children (under 10). The menu (10/16): fried chicken tenders or pork chops (choice of 1 item), squash casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn bread, rolls and tea. Please RSVP for the meal by noon on Tuesdays by calling 520-5660 or emailing postmaster@ northsidebaptist.org with your name and number attending. After the meal, from 6:00 8:00 pm, a variety of classes will be available for adults through our University of Christian Training (UCT). Adult choir practice, all preschool, children, and student activities will run 6:00 8:00 pm. Chile Mission Trip Interest Meeting Today at 12:15 pm After the Worship Service Room 123 Partnering with the Community We are partnering with our community! Northside and River Bluff High School will host a Fall Festival for River Bluff students at River Bluff High School (320 Corley Mill Rd., Lexington) on Saturday, October 26 from 6-8pm. We need volunteers and candy donations. Please sign up today in your LIFE Group or at the Childrens Welcome Desk. OCTOBER 13, 2013 Operation Christmas Child Final shoebox count 506! We have two dates available to go to the Charlotte processing center to get these boxes ready to distribute to children overseas. Saturday November 30 11a-3p or Thursday December 12 11a-3p We have 25 slots available each day and they will be filled on a first come basis. Thanksgiving Baskets Interest Meeting Sunday, October 20 4:00 pm at Hispanic Church 1339 Leaphart Street, West Columbia We will again provide Thanksgiving Baskets containing a complete dinner to those in need in our community. Come and see how you can help make this happen! University Of Christian Training (UCT) UCT has begun but you can still join a class. Pick up a booklet at the information desk to see what is being taught. Offered on several days at different times and locations. On Wednesday nights, 6-8:00 and Sunday nights, 5-7:00 programming for children and students is also available. XYZ Tuesday, Oct 15 10:30 AM Worship Center Program: Darlene Cox and Tom Vassar (former Northside member and missionary to Venezuela) will repeat a concert given by them at Northside, April 1974. This program was requested and set-up by the late Mrs. Louise Weezie Price who headed up the XYZ ministry for 38 years. The concert will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. in the Worship Center.
