CHANAKYA OPTION 1
A reflection of the Mythology: As a part of our promotions, we intend to release few case studies every day on our Facebook page before our event. These case-studies would revolve around an incident or a character(s) from the mythology. The case-study would be less than half a page long and would include the context, the characters involved and a question at the end. This would be followed by a post regarding our analysis of the case which would be released on the next day. The analysis could use a present day management framework to come to a solution/explanation of what really happened. The analysis would be followed by a note on how the analysis could yield a message for the present day managers The Pre-process Task: Deliverable: A case based on mythology and its analysis in the same document (one page each) using the structure described above (include images wherever possible) An example of this is attached as a separate document

Note: Do not restrict yourself to Indian Mythology

CHANAKYA OPTION 2
Contemporizing the case: Deliverable: Write a caselet highlighting a problem in an organization. This problem could be fictitious or something that you have experienced personally or something you have read about from news articles / business magazines. You are free to choose the basis of the problem from any management topic. Please do not copy paste from other sources because it is possible that we have already seen it. Make sure your caselet doesnt exceed 250 words. If you want, you may include an additional page of exhibits (A sample is attached herewith) Give us your analysis of the problem and your suggestion to solve it. The word limit for the analysis is 250 words Indicative list of Topics: We have provided the following topics for your reference but you are free to base your caselet on any other topic which may not be in the list: Crisis management, Budgeting, Innovation Implementation, Strategic Thinking, Strategy Execution, Brand Management, Product Development, Performance Management, Virtual Team Management, Diversity Management, Supply Chain Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestiture, Market Expansion and Business Process Re-engineering
