NHP (NON HOMOGENOUS PNR) HE NHP Reservations can be made for passengers travelling out together and back separately or vice versa. 1. Book required number of seats on each flight (eg 2 pax departing together on the same flight, and returning on separate flights, booking number of seats required). 2. Passenger relate flights that do not have seats booked for all passengers in the PNR (4/P1, 5/P2 etc). 3. Complete booking as normal (AP, TK, seats, meals etc) 4. End transaction (ET or ER) as normal. System will automatically split the PNR and return all applicable record locators. 5. Split remark will display in each PNR. List of cross referenced bookings can be accessed using RT AXR, RT1 etc.
Unwanted NHP If the number of seats booked in a PNR does not match the number of names it will not be possible to end transaction. Options are as follows: Option 1: Passenger relate the flight segments and cancel the unwanted names 1. 4/P1-3 Associate element 4 to passengers 1-3 2. XE4 Cancel passenger number 4 Option 2: Alternatively increase the number of seats booked and cancel the unwanted names 1. 4/3 Adjust number of seats booked in element 4 to 3 seats 2. XE2 Cancel unwanted name element

In an annual independent survey of UK travel agents using one of the 4 main global distribution systems (GDS) Amadeus was ranked Best for Service Overall. According to the European Commission (January 2006) Amadeus invests more in Research & Development than any other European travel company. Amadeus has committed to investing 1 billion in developing new IT solutions for the travel industry over 5 years. Around 150 of the worlds leading airlines use the Amadeus Alta Suite of IT solutions for their reservations, inventory and departure control needs. Amadeus Alta introduces a new level of information sharing between agents and airlines for the benefit of your customers. Using the same system also improves data accuracy, such as pricing itineraries, because it removes potential discrepancies and resulting ADMs. Amadeus was the first GDS to introduce a graphical cruise booking tool to the UK market in 2001. Amadeus Cruise offers sales and information on all the leading cruise lines some of which are exclusively available through Amadeus. In an independent study of travel agents in the UK, it was proved that agents using Amadeus work faster than those using competitor systems. Booking a round trip for two passengers with multiple destinations is 56% faster on Amadeus.
