The FIITJEE Journey

FIITJEE was created in 1992 by the vision and toil of Mr. D. K. Goel, a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from IIT Delhi. We had a very humble beginning as a forum for IIT-JEE, with a vision to provide an ideal launch pad for serious JEE aspirants. Along the way to realization of this vision, we went beyond merely coaching for IIT-JEE. We actually started to make a difference in the way Students think and approach problems. No Registration Fee for Students currently enrolled in any FIITJEE Program (Classroom Programs - without an exit option / Integrated School Programs / Correspondence Programs). Please submit photocopy of FIITJEE identity card / proof of enrollment along with Paper Application form. From 22nd September to 8th October, 2013 with Registration Fee of Rs. 400/(inclusive of Service Tax). Based on the performance in FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam, Students will get to know their Rank Potential Index (RPI) / Success Potential Index (SPI) which will help them know what they can achieve and bridge the gap between desire & aspiration. Students will also get suggestions to plug loopholes so that they can plan their study schedule and improve upon their shortcomings to perform to their optimum on the Competitive Entrance Exam day. Students of each of the Classes V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X & XI securing a Rank in Top 500 will get a Certificate of Achievement and will also get Online Doubt Removal Support to help them in their preparation, even without joining FIITJEE.

Cash Scholarships, Fee Waivers for FIITJEE Programs and Hostel Fee Waivers for Class VIII, IX, X & XI will be decided on the basis of performance in Comprehension Based Test and subject to scoring above minimum cut-off marks in each subject of the Paper. Students must appear in both Papers (Paper 1 + Paper 2) and qualify Paper 2 to become eligible for any Cash Scholarships / Program Fee Waivers / Hostel Fee waivers. In case of Class V, VI & VII, Fee Waivers for FIITJEE Programs and Hostel Fee Waivers will be decided on the basis of performance in the Paper and subject to scoring above minimum cut-off marks in each subject of the Paper.

Note : FIITJEE has been supporting extremely poor & not so meritorious and meritorious Students in general by way of Scholarships. In the last few years we have seen an inflationary rate of increase in cost of operations of FIITJEE. However the increase in Fee of FIITJEE Programs has been very nominal. All this has resulted in putting huge financial pressure on FIITJEE. Due to this reason, this year we are not in a position to offer Scholarships in number and value comparable to previous years. We are constrained to reduce Scholarships to half of previous years. Therefore, this year there will be many Students with excellent potential for IIT-JEE who may not get Scholarships. We advise Students not to feel disheartened, if they fail to get Scholarship from FIITJEE. However, our performance analysis should be able to clearly explain to them their individual potential.

Note : FIITJEE has been supporting extremely poor & not so meritorious and meritorious Students in general by way of Scholarships. In the last few years we have seen an inflationary rate of increase in cost of operations of FIITJEE. However the increase in Fee of FIITJEE Programs has been very nominal. All this has resulted in putting huge financial pressure on FIITJEE. Due to this reason, this year we are not in a position to offer Scholarships in number and value comparable to previous years. We are constrained to reduce Scholarships to half of previous years. Therefore, this year there will be many Students with excellent potential for IIT-JEE who may not get Scholarships. We advise Students not to feel disheartened, if they fail to get Scholarship from FIITJEE. However, our performance analysis should be able to clearly explain to them their individual potential.

Registration for Students currently enrolled in any FIITJEE program (Classroom Programs - without an exit option / School Integrated / Distance Education Programs) can be done only through Paper Application mode (to be sent by post or to be submitted in person at any FIITJEE Centre only ). Please submit photocopy of FIITJEE Identity Card / Proof of Enrollment along with Paper Application form. Registration Fee : No Fee till 21st September, 2013, Rs. 100/- from 22nd September to 8th October, 2013 and Rs. 200/- from 9th to 15th October, 2013. Schools can also encourage their Students to appear in the FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam. To honour the school and its Students, FIITJEE shall contribute 25% of the Total Registration Fee (excluding Service Tax), of that group of Students from that school, to the School fund on exclusive rights of the School Principal for benevolent purposes. This is applicable for a group of at least 100 Students from the same School and their Application Form are to be sent through the School Authority. Online Registration : Log on to our online registration portal www.fiitjeeonline.in and create an account for yourself using your e-mail ID as user name and set your preferred password. Update your profile info such as your Name, Class and School you are studying at, Contact details and details about your parents etc. as the next step. You are now ready for an online registration. Following payment options are available on the website.

1. Online payment using a Credit / Debit Card (Master / Visa) - Your Hall Ticket will be generated immediately after successful payment. Please take two printouts of your Hall Ticket and paste your recent colour photograph on both the copies. Submit one copy of your Hall Ticket to the Examination Controller during the Exam and get the second copy validated & keep it for your records.

2. Cash Deposit at an Axis Bank Branch in India If you choose this option for registration, portal will create a deposit challan for you. Take a printout of this challan and deposit the Exam Fee in cash at any Axis Bank branch in India. Your Hall Ticket will be e-mailed to your e-mail ID given by you during online registration within four working days of the cash deposit. You can also download your Hall Ticket after successful login on our online registration portal www.fiitjeeonline.in from the Past Registrations section.

Offline Registration : You can choose either the Paper Application mode or e-Application mode for doing Offline registration. 1. The DD / Pay Orders should be in favour of FIITJEE LTD. For DDs / Pay Orders payable at Ranchi it should be in favour of FIITJEE (Ranchi Classes) Ltd. Note 1 : Cash Scholarships, Fee Waivers for FIITJEE Programs and Hostel Fee Waivers for Class VIII, IX, X & XI will be decided on the basis of performance in Comprehension Based Test and subject to scoring above minimum cut-off marks in each subject of the Paper. Note 4 : For Class VIII (going to IX in 2014) Students joining Four Year Program, 30% of Total Cash Scholarship will be divided in equal quarterly installments and disbursed in Class IX & X from April 2014 to March 2016 and rest 70% of Total Cash Scholarship will be divided in equal quarterly installments and disbursed in Class XI & XII from April 2016 to March 2018. For Class IX (going to X in 2014) Students joining Three Year Classroom Program, please refer to Scholarship Grid on page 9 - Cash Scholarship will be divided in equal quarterly installments and disbursed from April 2014 to March 2017. For Class X (going to XI in 2014) Students joining Two Year Program, total Cash Scholarship will be divided in equal quarterly installments and disbursed from April 2014 to March 2016. For Class XI (going to XII in 2014) Students joining One Year Classroom Program, total Cash Scholarship will be divided in equal quarterly installments and disbursed from April 2014 to March 2015. Note 5 : Minimum attendance of 90% and relative good performance in Phase Tests during the course will be a criterion for eligibility for continuity of reimbursement of quarterly Cash Scholarship. The final discretion in each case will remain with FIITJEE and this decision will be final and binding on the candidate. Note 6 : Cash Scholarships will be paid to Students through a crossed cheque and shall be in favour of the Student only. Note 7 : Fee Waivers for FIITJEE programs & Hostel Fee Waivers are valid for the above-mentioned select programs only. Note 8 : Hostel Fee Waivers (for accommodation only) are valid only for FIITJEEs associate hostels made available through FIITJEE, subject to the Student joining that particular hostel and availability of seats. The waivers will be given monthly between April, 2014 to March, 2018 for Class VIII (going to IX) Students joining Four Year Program; April, 2014 to March, 2017 for Class IX (going to X) Students joining Three Year Classroom Program; April, 2014 to March, 2016 for Class VI (going to VII) & Class X (going to XI) Students joining Two Year Program ; April, 2014 to March, 2015 for Class V (going to VI), Class VII (going to VIII) & Class XI (going to XII) Students joining One Year Classroom Program and only for the duration of School / Classroom program. : FIITJEE Students already enrolled in Classroom Program can appear in FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam to find about their current level of preparation and their projected Rank in IIT-JEE (Advanced) / Other Competitive Entrance Examinations. We are already committed to these Students in giving our complete support at any point of their preparations. FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam is only for giving the feedback to their preparation and no Scholarships / Fee Waivers will be awarded to such Students. However, FIITJEE Students will be entitled for rewards as per their performance in IIT-JEE (Advanced) Examination (for details refer FIITJEEs Program Brochure).

Note 10 : Students presently in Class X and enrolled at FIITJEE in Four Year / Three Year Classroom Program (enrolled with an exit option after Class X) will be treated in the category of Non - FIITJEE Students and they will have to register themselves for FTRE, 2013 by paying Normal Registration Fee. So, they will be entitled for all the benefits of FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam on selection & joining PINNACLE - Two Year Integrated School Program / Two Year Classroom Program for IIT-JEE (Advanced), 2016. Note 11 : Students presently in Class VIII and enrolled at FIITJEE in UDAYA - School / Classroom Programs can register themselves as a FIITJEE Student and they are entitled for benefits of FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam on selection & joining any one of these programs (a) SUPREME - Four Year Integrated School Program for IIT-JEE (Advanced), 2018 ; (b) Four Year Classroom Program for IIT-JEE (Advanced), 2018. Note 12 : Students presently in Class VI and enrolled at FIITJEE in Little Genie - One Year Foundation Program can register themselves as a FIITJEE Student and they are entitled for benefits of FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam on selection & joining any one of these programs (a) UDAYA Plus -Two Year Integrated School Program ; (b) UDAYA - Two Year Classroom Program. Note 13 : Students enrolled in FIITJEE Rankers Study Material (RSM) for IIT-JEE (Advanced), 2015 on selection & joining One Year Classroom Program for IIT-JEE (Advanced), 2015 will be entitled for Cash Scholarships, Fee Waivers for FIITJEE program and monthly Hostel Fee Waivers during the Program. The course fee already paid for Rankers Study Material will not be adjusted or refunded. Note 14 : Any Student studying at FIITJEE can avail only one scholarship (including Cash Scholarships awarded through Talent Reward Exam etc.) during his / her entire academic session of the program he / she joins at FIITJEE. Once a Student enrolls in a FIITJEE Program through FIITJEEs Talent Reward Exam / Admission Test etc. and he / she reappears in any future FIITJEEs Test then he / she will not be eligible to claim any Scholarship through the latter Test. However, Scholarship based on Scholastic Achievement in KVPY / Olympiads / NTSE / JSTSE / MTSE / SSTSE / X Board / XII Board will remain applicable, but the Student can only claim the Scholarship higher amongst the two - i.e. either the Scholarship based on FIITJEEs Talent Reward Exam / Admission Test etc. or the Scholarship based on Scholastic Achievement (already availed scholarship amount will be deducted from the same). Note 15 (a): The registered office of FIITJEE Limited is at New Delhi. All disputes and differences of any nature with regard to the FTRE, subsequent enrollment and studies shall be referred to the Sole Arbitrator appointed by the Management of FIITJEE Ltd. The Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and Statutory modification thereof and rules made thereunder. The award of the arbitrator shall be final & binding. The arbitrator so appointed shall not be incapacitated for reasons of their being the employee of FIITJEE Ltd. or its sister concern, and for reasons of having any prior linkage with the company. The seat of arbitration will be Delhi. All the parties - Student / parents / guardian & FIITJEE agree that they shall not commence or maintain any action in a court of law relating to FTRE, subsequent enrollment & studies at FIITJEE except for enforcement of the arbitral award. All parties waive any right to appeal. This is needed for speedy redressal of issues & all parties agree to this. Note 15 (b): Subject to 15 (a) herein above, the exclusive Jurisdiction in the matter shall vest in Delhi / New Delhi Courts only.

Note 1

: No Student can appear in FIITJEE admission test (including FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam) more than twice in one academic year. If any Student appears for the third time his / her application will be disqualified before the admission test or even if identified after taking admission his / her enrollment can be cancelled and fee deposited will be forfeited. FIITJEE can also take legal action against such Student and his / her guardian.

Note 2

: In case a Student reappears in FIITJEE test, his / her scholarship (if awarded) will be scaled down by one slab so that he / she does not have any undue advantage over fresh Student appearing for the first time.

Note 3

: FIITJEE reserves the right to change / cancel any Program, Test Date, Test Centre, Study Centre, Eligibility Criterion & Course Fee without prior notice.

Selection Test: Sunday 9th February, 2014

Taking the initiative of helping the economically underprivileged to a larger level, in the year 2008, FIITJEE constituted FORTUNATE 40 A program to provide world-Class training to serious Students from financially weaker backgrounds to achieve their goal of success & Top Ranks in IIT-JEE and Other Competitive Exams. The program will financially support capable Students presently studying in Class VIII (going to IX) & Class X (going to XI) whose total parental income is less than Rs. 10,000/- per month. FIITJEE will support these meritorious Students in their preparation for achieving their dream goal by awarding 100% scholarships for FIITJEE programs & 100% waivers on hostel charges. For Integrated School Program the school fee will be charged from the Student (at some locations scholarship on school fee may also be awarded). The FORTUNATE 40 batch for each program, at each location, will have a maximum of 40 Students only. Students will have to appear for a selection test on 9th February, 2014. There is no registration fee for the selection test. To be eligible for the FORTUNATE 40 batch, Students have to clear the individual subject cut-offs & also the grand total cut-off. Selected Students will be notified and admitted to the program with 100% scholarships. The final discretion on award of scholarship in each case will remain with FIITJEE and this decision will be final and binding on the candidate.

Student should be from Central Government School, State Government school for under privileged section of society for example Students studying in Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Schools. The total parental income should be less than Rs. 10,000/- per month. Other Students (studying in public / private schools) may also apply, however their application will be considered on case to case basis and on the discretion of the management.
