V & S Publishers is a well known publishing firm situated in Delhi. The Publication has more than 300 titles in different categories which emphasize all the fields affecting our life. They have a lot of digital e-Books available with major retail platforms such as Apple iBookstore, Android Marketplace, Barnes & Noble, Amazon Kindle, Kobo ; as well as big e-book aggregators such as OverDrive.com.

The company needs our service to develop a catalog App for Apple devices i.e. iPhone and iPad. The catalog of the company will display all the published work of the publication and will give a brief of the books displayed in the showcase (Catalog).

The requirement of client and work to be done for this app is defined under the Scope of Work section below.

Scope of Work
Following are the features which are to be integrated in the app: 1. The app will be a product catalog displaying the products of the V & S Publication. 2. All books will be displayed in two different layouts which are:

1. Grid Layout 2. List Layout

User can switch to any of the layout according to his/ her choice. 3. The app will work for both the devices iPhone as well as iPad. 4. All books shown in the app will have following functionality:

1. The front cover of the book will be displayed. 2. There will be a short description associated with each product (book). 3. There will be 3 to 5 demo pages of each book available for review and

creating interest of the readers for each book.

4. There will be a Get it now button on the description page which will

be linked to the online download/ purchase location of the book.

5. This catalog will have the feature of auto rotation according to the position & rotation of the device. 6. A Read Aloud feature will also be there in this app. 7. Users will have the choice to sort the content according to :
1. A to Z sorting 2. Category of the book 3. Genre of the book

8. Initially the app will cover all the apps or books present in online stores such as Apple Store, Amazon, and Over Drive etc. 9. All the publisher contact information will be available with this application like: Address, Contact No., E-Mail, and Website URL. 10. We will have to submit the app on the Apple store. 11. This will be fully clients discretion if the app will be free or paid.

This requirement, we mentioned is as per our understanding on the conversation made with the client. Final requirement or modification will be fixed after the clients approval. The work will be started after the final deal with the client.

Different types of apps have different costs according to the work in the development of the particular Application.
