Equipment handled: Columns, Vessels, Tanks, Air Coolers and Heat Exchangers. Thermal & Mechanical design of Heat Exchangers Working knowledge of codes such as ASME Section VIII Div. 1, TEMA, API 560, API 650, ASCE-7, IS-875, IS-1893, WRC 107 and WRC 297 Hands on experience of PV Elite, HTRI, Compress and Code Calc software Participating in project review meetings for evaluating project progress & debottlenecking. Anchoring on-site construction activities and Vendor shop visits to ensure completion of project within the scheduled time & cost parameters. Review of Project documents of other disciplines for Inter Departmental Co-ordination (IDC).

    VALDEL ENGINEERS & CONSTRUCTORS (S&B), INDIA
    A subsidiary of Houston based EPC Company in oil and gas field Responsibility and Nature of job includes: Designing & detailing of the various static equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Columns, and Heat Exchangers. Review of vendor offers, preparation of technical queries, technical meetings with vendors, preparation of technical recommendation & purchase requisition. Review & approval of vendor design calculations & fabrication drawings. Handling team of engineers & draftsmen. Preparation of all specifications, Mechanical data sheets, Engineering drawings and Material requisitions. Lyondell Basell, Texas, USA. I was responsible for design of Heat exchangers and Vessels and review of Vendor prints. Coastal Caverns Fractionation, USA I was involved for development of Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation, Purchase order and review of vendor prints of equipments. Also, I was responsible for design of Heat exchangers, Vessels & Air coolers. SAMSUNG ENGINEERING INDIA PVT LTD., INDIA (PERIOD: JULY 08 AUG 12)

    PROJECTS:

    A major South Korea based EPC Company in oil and gas field with main office at Seoul, many branch offices and project offices in different countries. Responsibility and Nature of job includes: Reviewing the ITB (Invitation to Bid) documents submitted in the proposals stage. Designing & detailing of the various static equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Columns, Heat Exchangers.

    Review of Licensors / PMCs specifications, Process Data Sheet etc. Preparing Technical Specification summary as per the Clients Requirement. Preparation of all specifications, mechanical data sheets, engineering drawings and material requisitions. Review of vendor offers, preparation of technical queries, technical meetings with vendors, preparation of technical recommendation & purchase requisition. Review & approval of vendor design calculations & fabrication drawings. Processing & maintaining updated copies of documents for reference of other discipline as per the quality plan. Reviewing documents by other discipline for Inter Department Co-ordination (IDC). Implementing experience of working at site to troubleshoot the Site issues regarding Erection of Equipment with their internals and necessary modifications required to be performed at site. Handling team of engineers & draftsmen. Takreer- CBDC Unit, Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, UAE : Client- Takreer , Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company, UAE. The scope of project is Carbon Black & Delayed Coker Unit of Takreers Ruwais Refinery Expansion Plant with a capacity of 40,000 tons of carbon black per year and 30,000 barrels of crude oil a day. During Proposal stage I was responsible for design & estimation of Reactors, Columns, Heat exchangers and Vessels. Post Award my scope of work is to independently handle Heat Exchangers Requisition.

    PROJECTS:

    DHU-NOCL, Cuddalore, India : Client- Nagarjuna Oil Corporation Limited, India. The scope of project is Diesel Hydrodesulphurization Unit of NOCL Petro-chemical plant at Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu which is to produce 1 MMTPA Diesel from Feed Oil. I have had been responsible for complete Stationary Department related activities and successful proposal execution of the same. Post award my scope of work in this project included Columns, Fired Heater, Vessels, Coalescer, Feed Filter and Ejector.

    Opal-DFCU & AU, Dahej, India : Client- ONGC Petro Additions Limited, India. This is Dual Feed Cracker Unit & Auxiliary Unit of Petro-chemical plant at Dahej, Gujarat to produce 1.1 MMTPA Ethylene and 0.35 MMTPA Propylene as Petrochemical Feedstock to downstream Basic Polymer units of Polyethylene (LLDPE, HDPE), and Polypropylene (PP). My scope of work was related to design of Vessels in BdEU and BzEU units of Plant & Thermal design of Shell & tube exchangers involved in DFCU & AU units of the plant.

    SITE EXPOSURE: Deputation to MEG unit of IOCL Panipat Naphtha Cracker Plant for one month as a part of GET training. My work was learning about various site related activities and identification / rectification of Engineering errors. Due to this assignment, our Engineering team in Delhi came to know of many mismatches between equipment, their piping and their foundations. I effectively coordinated between my engineering team in Delhi and Site Engineers and was instrumental in cost savings for all rework done by early identification of errors. NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS Recognized in Samsung Engineering for securing position in departmental test. Recognized as enthusiast to develop Best Practices while learning the lessons from previous projects EDUCATION HIGHLIGHTS 2008 B. Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU), Varanasi 2009 Cleared ONGC ALL India Examination and recommended for an Executive (Mechanical) Position.
