The automobile engine connecting rod is a high volume production critical component. Every vehicle that uses an internal combustion engine requires at least one connecting rod. From the viewpoint of functionality, connecting rods must have the highest possible rigidity at the lowest weight. The major stress induced in the connecting rod is a combination of axial and bending stresses in operation. The axial stresses are produced due to cylinder gas pressure (compressive only) and the inertia force arising in account of reciprocating action (both tensile as well as compressive), where as bending stresses are caused due to the centrifugal effects. The result of which is, the maximum stresses are developed at the fillet section of the big and the small end. Here the modeling will be designed by using Pro/E wildfire 5.0 then the modeling to be analyzed by using ANSYS 11.0 after analyzing which place maximum stresses are developed at the fillet section of the big and the small end to be verified.

In this project the Cutting force and chip reduction coefficient is the important index of machinability as it determines the power consumption and amount of energy invested in machining actions. It is primarily influenced by process parameters like cutting speed, feed and depth of cut. This project application is Taguchis parameter design to optimize the parameters for individual responses. For multi-response optimization, Taguchis quality loss function approach is proposed. In the present investigation, optimal values of cutting speed, feed and depth of cut are determined to minimize cutting force and chip reduction coefficient during orthogonal turning. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology is illustrated through an experimental investigation in turning mild steel work piece using high speed steel tool.
The telescopic shock absorber is widely used in the automotive suspension system, and the shock absorber which has the shock absorbing effect in both compression stroke and stretching stroke is the bi-directional action type shock absorber; in addition, some new shock absorbers including gas filling type shock absorbers and damping force adjusting shock absorbers are also used., The result of which is, the maximum stresses are developed at the top section or bottom of the eye section will be find out . Here the modeling will be designed by using Pro/E wildfire 5.0 then the modeling to be analyzed by using ANSYS 11.0 after analyzing which place maximum deflection are developed at the top of the eye end or bottom of the eye end to be analyzed.
4. DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF LINEAR WELDING ROBOT BY USING ANSYS Robot automation systems are rapidly taking the place of the human work force. One of the benefits is that this change provides the human work force with the time to spend on more creative tasks. The highest population of robots is in spot welding, spray painting, material handling, and arc welding. Spot welding and spray painting applications are mostly in the automotive industry. Due to continual increase in the need of high production rates, an accuracy and labour cost, automation has been adopted to the welding technology. First automation applications started with mechanized, automatic and semi-automated MIG-MAG systems as well as SAW. Robots have been used in many industrial applications including welding technology in order to increase efficiency, reduce overall costs, and increase productivity and product quality as well safe working conditions. Here the modeling of linear welding robot will be designed by using Pro/E wildfire 5.0 then the modeling to be analyzed by using ANSYS 11.0.
