Apploi. A snap Shot


What is Apploi?
Apploi is the rst mobile jobs app that allows candidates to complete a job application directly from their mobile device. It is built to help you nd the right people. Interactive Apploi applications can be completed either on a tablet that is installed at a store location or from a candidates own mobile device. Apploi comprises a variety of interactive responses (such as audio scenarios, competency sliders and more) to custom questions that employers create. This pack will help you familiarize yourself with the Apploi system. There are two predominant elements to the system that you will be using that this guide will run you through: The Apploi app allows candidates to apply via tablets or mobile phones. The Apploi management system allows employers to manage what is displayed to candidates and to review incoming candidate applications.

Pre-Requisites For using the app


Internet. A good internet connection is required for a seamless experience of the Apploi app for your applicants. We know that your applicants may also be customers and that you would like to provide them with the best job application experience possible. There are several things you can do to boost your internet connection: > Contact your service provider for advice or to request a plan upgrade > Purchase a wi booster > Move your wi box and tablet kiosk closer to each other A mobile phone or tablet In order to apply via the app, users will need to have a mobile phone or tablet. In order to use the app as an employer, you will need a tablet or computer.

Upload your basic company information and logo Select your package

Put your mount and tablet on the Wall in visible and easy to access spot Lock the tablet and app onto your account using your client lock & account information Put your sticker on your door to let clients know you are hiring and that they can also use their phone to apply

Account Settings
Adding Credit
Apploi oers pay-as-you-go options or enterprise packages for large businesses. Non-enterprise clients can top-up their credit via the Apploi system on a need by need basis, with packages starting as low as $30. For enterprise packages, Apploi sends clients a monthly invoice based on the volume of use within the system.
Add More Credit, Pay As You Go On the Account Settings tab, select Add Credit Select the package you want and enter in your details Submit your selection

Account Settings
Client Lock & Lock Settings Your employer username and password will allow you to lock the app so that it only displays the jobs you want it to!
Lock Settings [access on a computer] On your browser, go to your Account Settings Tab and click on the Lock Settings option Upload screensaver images to be displayed when the app is not being used and is in client lock mode Save your image selections

Locking the App [access on a tablet] Click on the little lock icon on the top right hand side of the app. Enter in your username and password to lock the app to display only your jobs and to enable your lock settings options

Please note: Client lock only applies when the app is being used on a tablet.

Templates allow you to ask your candidates interactive questions so you can learn about who they are and why you should hire them.

Title your templates so you can easily nd it later Use the +Question button to add new questions

Note: Candidates will already provide you with their basic information.

Add or delete pages

Use the page navigation buttons to ip between pages

Create a new template
Give your template a title Create a question Select what question format you would like to use: text, video or, text and audio, via the format selection tab. Once you select your question type, you will be able to enter in text. If you choose audio or video questions, you will be able to also upload a le. Select your applicant response format Select what response format you would like your candidates to use: text, video, slider, date, timeavailability, multiple-choice or audio. If you select multiple choice, you will need to type in your selections. Continue steps 1 & 2, adding new pages after 2-8 questions, until you are done. Your template will automatically save.

Note: add new questions and pages in the order that you would like applicants to see them. You can drag and drop questions.

Add scoring filters
Add scoring lters to your questions so when applicants apply they will be agged as either red, yellow or green, based on your scoring settings and their responses.
Turn scoring on Select the ag that you would like to use for candidates if they choose a certain response, by clicking on one of the colored buttons,

Recommended Tag Meaning D: Disregard You will not view or pay for the candidates R: Red This is not a preferred candidate Y :Yellow This candidate has not answered all of your questions to your preferences, but is worth viewing G: Green Your candidate has met your basic criteria

Note: Scoring is only available for slider and multiple-choice questions.

Add Reviewer Guides
Reviewer guides allow you to guide application reviewers, as they will be able to see your comments as they consider the quality of an applicants response.
Click on review guide to open up a text box. Type in information that will help reviewers know what to look for in a given question response, and what to accept/not accept in a given response.

No other team user is allowed to edit your question templates, unless you specically give them this permission.

Click on Allow people in your team to edit this template Select the names of those team members who you want to give editing power to

To view templates that you have created, click on the templates tab and click on the browse option To view any templates, click on the name of the template and it will take you to your template editor To delete any templates, click on the trash button

Your Jobs
Create a New Job
Whenever you have an open position, create & publish your job to post it to the Apploi app. Make sure you create a template rst!

Click on new on the jobs tab Enter in your job title Select the relevant template (these are the questions that the candidate will be required to answer) Enter in the hiring company, address, industry and job description. You can also opt to upload a video about the job. Click Create to save the job. Click Publish to post your job to the app.

Allow Team Member Job Editing
No other team user is allowed to edit your job, unless you specically give them this permission.

Advertise your jobs
Apploi markets the Apploi app to potential applicants, so we increase your marketing reach. If a candidate has downloaded the Apploi app, they are more likely to nd your job and apply! You can also use your Company or Job Codes to get the word out there that youre hiring. Company and Job Codes allow candidates to quickly and easily nd all the jobs at your company or to nd a specic job, via the search bar on the app. Get creative. Advertise your company code on your napkins, paper cups and more!

Where Do I Find My Codes?

Your Job Code [To nd your job codes, click browse Jobs on Jobs tab > Select Job]

Your Company Code [To nd your company code, click username > My Account]

To Remove or Delete Jobs
Delete Jobs Go to the browse jobs option on the jobs tab All the jobs will appear Click on the trash icon to delete a job

Remove jobs from the app Go to the browse jobs option on the jobs tab Click on a job that you would like to remove from the app Click the unpublish button at the bottom of the jobs page

Reviewing your candidates
Once candidates apply, these applications will be ready for your review in the system.
Go to the browse jobs tab Find the job you want to review the candidates for Select the applicants icon and view your applicants. Use your stop light scores to determine which candidate to review rst. Click on the candidates name to view their application. Keep record of eligible candidates by adding your own start score and taking notes Share your candidate with anyone via email.

Team Accounts
The Team feature on the app allows you to share templates, jobs and credits with anyone on your team. Each individual team member owns their individual account, but has the ability to create or join a team. Individuals are only allowed to belong to one team at a time, with whom they can share jobs, credits and templates. Team members can leave teams at any time.

Creating a Team Account
Once you have created your own account, you can create a team account by going to Account Settings tab, and clicking on Upgrade to Team. Once you have upgraded to a team account, the name of your team account will appear as a link to the right of your username. This link will give you access to your team settings. Admin users can add and delete other users, as well as giving admin power to other users.

Select On on the On/O option to share or un-share your templates or jobs with your teammates Click on the plus sign to add or request credit to be shared with you by a team member.

Note: Sharing templates will allow other users to view (but not edit) your templates. Sharing your jobs will allow other users to view your jobs and incoming applicants (though only you will be charged to receive these applicants).
