1. LiveControl 2 Installer Download and run the LiveControl 2 Installer. Select the location of Ableton Live when prompted by the installer. If you wish to use LiveControl 2 on several different versions of Live (for example both Live 8 and Live 9), you will need to run the installer once for each version.
2. Lemur Setup Load LiveControl_2_0.JZML (found in Applications/LiveControl) to the Lemur app on your iPad, using the Lemur Editor or the App File Sharing window in iTunes. LiveControl 2 and Lemur can work over Wi-Fi with the Lemur Daemon, or you can use a hardware MIDI interface such as iConnect MIDI or iRig MIDI II. The example here uses Lemur Daemon, if you are using a hardware interface simply use the appropriate MIDI ports. Setup the following in the Lemur Settings screen: MIDI Target 0 | From: Daemon Output 0 | To: Daemon Input 0 3. Ableton Live Setup Start Ableton Live and open the MIDI Sync Preferences in Ableton Live. Setup the following conguration. (screenshot on next page)

1. LiveControl 2 Installer Download and run the LiveControl 2 Installer. The installer will automatically detect and install LiveControl 2 for all compatible versions of Ableton Live.
2. Lemur Setup Load LiveControl_2_0.JZML (found from Start Menu or Desktop shortcut) to the Lemur app on your iPad, using the Lemur Editor or the App File Sharing window in iTunes. LiveControl 2 and Lemur can work over Wi-Fi with the Lemur Daemon, or you can use a hardware MIDI interface such as iConnect MIDI or iRig MIDI II. The example here uses Lemur Daemon, if you are using a hardware interface simply use the appropriate MIDI ports. On Windows, if you are using Lemur Daemon, you will also need to have virtual MIDI ports installed.
