A computer is a computer regardless of size. In other words, all computers are capable of performing the same tasks if given enough storage ability and time. Todays computer is only about 15 years old and far surpasses the computer of earlier years. With PCs as advanced as they are, it's easy to forget the fundamentals that have made modern technology possible. Computers do all the things they do because they are able to perform basic operations.
