It involves the collection and evaluation of evidence on students achievements or performance over a specified period of time, such as nine weeks, on academic semester, or entire school year. Through this process, various types of descriptive information and measures of students performance are converted into grades or marks that summarize students accomplishments. There are lots of programs offered by the school. It makes them as an asset for the school, same students consider the facilities of the school and also the tuition fees or the assessment fees that charged over-all to their chosen course before enrolling themselves to one particular educational institution .Assessment fees covered all the fees that students must be payoff in cash or installment. With the advancement of information technology at the turn of the millennium, the internet suddenly became an important aspect for local and global connectivity. Because the worlds PCs were logically connected through the internet medium, communication had been easier with the one ofEMAIL, ICQ, message boards and other communication programs. As the technologys complexities and band with arise, so does the need for software to utilize them. Since, Microsystems College Foundation in the line of technology education this proposed online system will help to promote the school and help both future students and parents about Microsystems College Foundation can offer.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The purpose of the study is to develop an Online Student Grade and Fees Inquiry System that is designed for school wherein student and their parents may be able to access both information (grade and fees) on- the-go through internet. Specifically, it sought to answer the following queries: 1.) Is the system can really promote the school? 2.) Can the system secure information? 3.) Is the system will be helpful to the students?

1. To design an Online Grade and Assessment fee Inquiry System that allows both parents and students to access to the said system. 2. To design a system that is secured which is cannot be modified or retrieved by unauthorized person. 3. To provide a user-friendly and accurate system for grades and fees inquiry.

Registrar and Accounting Office. With regards to the registrars office the proposed system will help the school maintain the information and data of the students. The school will just check to the database for the records needed. Students. The students will benefit by means of not having a hard time in waiting to see their classcards and assessment fees. The parents will benefit by means of being updated on their childrens school grades or performance.

The proposed online system was a portal type system that covered only the posting and updating grades and assessment fees of the student of Microsystems College Foundation (MCF) that can be viewed by both student and parents anywhere and anytime. Users of the system have their own account with different access levels. Students can view their grades and assessment fees and parent can view student grades and get updated with their childs tuition payment status. Administrators have total access to the system. The study does not cover the computation of students grade since only the final grade is needed to verify if the student passed the prerequisite of a particular subject.

The online grades and assessment fees inquiry system is designed for student, parent or guardian, especially for the college students of Microsystems College Foundation and for their parents/guardian who supervise their welfare. This proposed online system will be an additional tool for the college student of MCF and their parent/guardian. To see the grades online and assessment fees easily. The proposed online system will show the grades per semester and also the assessment fees of the student. The proposed online system is to easy access but it is also secured on information. All data of the student is saved in the database and only the administered personnel can access the database for the secureness and accurateness of the information.

As the researchers go on with the study, they formulated the following assumption: a) Online Grade and Assessment Fees Inquiry System will help to promote the school, because it enhances some features of the school. b) Online Grades and Assessment Fees Inquiry System will be a tool for the parent/ guardian to check academic performance of the student.
