WHEN IS RED BULL FLUGTAG DALLAS/FORT WORTH? Saturday, September 21, 2013. Gates open at 11am. First flight is at 1pm. WHEN DOES THE EVENT END? The anticipated end of the event is approximately 4pm, but will be determined by the flow of the afternoon. The event will end after the last craft has flown and the winners have been chosen. IS THERE A CHARGE OR ARE TICKETS NEEDED TO ATTEND? Red Bull Flugtag Dallas/Fort Worth is FREE and OPEN to the public. No tickets are needed. All ages welcome. HOW DO YOU GET THERE? LOCATION: o Red Bull Flugtag Dallas/Fort Worth is located on the South shore of Lake Carolyn by the: Las Colinas Urban Center 501 Las Colinas Blvd E Irving, TX 75039 DART (DALLAS AREA RAPID TRANSIT) TRAINS AND BUSES: o It is possible to ride the DART system directly to the Las Colinas Urban Center. All overflow motorcycle parking will be in the general parking areas CAN I BRING MY SKATEBOARD, BIKE, SKATES, OR ROLLERBLADES INTO THE EVENT SITE? BICYCLE VALET: Bikes will not be allowed inside the event gates, but you can bring your bike to the event and check it with the bike valet, located outside the East and West gates. Space is limited. Skateboards, skates, rollerblades, and roller-shoes are not allowed inside the event gates. CAN I RENT OR BRING MY OWN KAYAK OR PADDLE BOAT TO WATCH THE EVENT FROM LAKE CAROLYN? Yes. Gondola Adventures will be renting gondolas, pedal boats, stand-up paddleboards, and kayaks on the day of the event. WHO CAN ATTEND? CAN YOU BRING KIDS? DO THEY HAVE TO PAY? Red Bull Flugtag is FREE and OPEN to all ages. We encourage families to attend and bring their kids. CAN I BRING MY PET? WHAT IF MY PET IS A SERVICE ANIMAL? Pets are not allowed inside the venue. Working Service Animals are the only exception. CAN YOU SMOKE AT THE EVENT? Smoking is only allowed on concrete sections of the venue. There is no smoking permitted on grass or in fields. Please help us keep Las Colinas beautiful by disposing of cigarettes in the proper receptacles in the venue. WHAT CAN YOU BRING? Everyone is subject to search upon entry. PERMITTED ITEMS Sunscreen Bug Spray Sunglasses Hats EMPTY water or Nalgene bottle (to refill inside) Small beach towels Strollers (If for an infant/ toddler) Point-and-shoot cameras (no detachable lenses) Medium backpacks How big is a medium backpack? How will this be enforced? A medium backpack should be no bigger than 20" tall, 15" wide and 9" thick packed. Bags will have to fit into a box of that size similar to the system used at Airports. If your bag doesn't fit in the box it won't be able to go inside the venue. o PROHIBITED ITEMS GUNS/ FIREARMS/ WEAPONS OF ANY KIND, EVEN WITH A PERMIT Glass containers of any kind Outside food and beverages (Food/beverages will be for sale inside.) Photos may be taken and shared on social media websites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) Professional photo equipment (extended lenses, professional video cameras) are not allowed except for preregistered media. Yes, you may leave and return, at the discretion of the security and police staff onsite. Possible reasons for not allowing re-admission include, but are not limited to: o Over-intoxication o Capacity reached at the event site o Safety or security concerns o Ejection from the site ARE YOU HIRING OR ACCEPTING VOLUNTEERS TO WORK AT THE EVENT? We have secured all staffing at this point, but wed love for you to come enjoy the event as a spectator! WILL THERE BE FREE WATER AVAILABLE? Yes, water stations will be setup throughout the event site. You may also bring an EMPTY water bottle or Nalgenestyle bottle to refill at one of our water stations. Please stay hydrated! Bottled water will also be sold for $2 at numerous vendor locations throughout the venue. WILL THERE BE FOOD AND BEVERAGES AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE? Yes, there will be several locations and vendors onsite providing a variety of food options including kids menus. WILL THERE BE VEGETARIAN/VEGAN FOOD OFFERED? Yes, each concession area will offer vegetarian selections.

WILL THERE BE ALCOHOL AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE? Yes, for those 21 and older. DO YOU NEED TO BRING ID TO THE EVENT? ID will be required for ALL patrons wishing to purchase alcohol. WILL RED BULL BE SELLING MERCHANDISE? Yes, there will be a merchandise sales location onsite. DO YOU NEED TO BRING CASH, CREDIT OR BOTH? WILL THERE BE ATMS? All locations will accept both cash and credit/ debit cards. ATMs will be available onsite near the vending areas. CAN YOU MARKET, SELL, OR SOLICIT MY PRODUCT OR SERVICE IN OR OUTSIDE THE EVENT? o Sorry, no solicitation or sales from outside entities will be permitted inside or outside of the event gates. HOW CAN YOU MEET AND GET AUTOGRAPHS OR PHOTOS FROM COMPETITORS? The pits open at 11am, when the gates open. Please come talk to the competitors, check out the crafts, and vote for the fan favorite! WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU LOSE A PERSONAL ITEM WHILE INSIDE THE EVENT? Report your lost item to any of the three (3) information booths onsite one just inside each of the three entrances. Lost items can be turned in and claimed at the Info tents at the top and bottom of the course. Post-event, please contact Red Bull at www.redbull.com to see if anyone turned in your lost item. Items not claimed within two weeks of the event will be donated to charity. WILL THERE BE FIRST AID ON SITE? Yes, First Aid stations will be onsite, clearly visible to the eye, and clearly marked on the maps. WHAT IF YOU NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION? Medical staff will be stationed at the Medical Tents located in the activation areas on both the top and bottom ends of the course, as well as roaming throughout the event site. If you have an emergency, please contact any staff member, security guard, police officer, or service provider, and they will locate the medical staff. WHAT KIND OF ACCESS AND ACCOMMODATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR ADA ATTENDEES? ADA parking is available at Waterway Tower, near the event gates at 433 E Las Colinas Blvd, Irving, TX 75039. ADA viewing is located on the water in the East venue, and will accommodate one additional guest per ADA patron. I HAVE MEDICATION THAT NEEDS TO BE REFRIGERATED, WHAT DO I DO? All refrigerated medicines must be maintained by the individual. No cooler services will be offered onsite.
